The GAA is hopeful that adult club training in the 26 counties will return next month.

Training in Northern Ireland resumes on April 12 while non-contact juvenile training will start in the Republic of Ireland on April 26.

However, there is as of yet no scheduled date for the return of adult training in the 26 counties.

The GAA stated yesterday in their monthly newsletter that they are optimistic they will be given the green light for adults to resume in May once juvenile training successfully returns this month: “There is no fixed date on when adult club training can resume but it is hoped that this might follow soon after (juvenile traning) some time in May if Government permits.”
