St. Eunans have a good wee break now until their Ulster q/f with the Fermanagh champions (Nov 7th).
It's a tough route. If they managed to overcome the Fermanagh champions, they face the winners of Derry/Monaghan champions in the semi final.

On the other side, Crossmaglen look to be on a bit of a mission to restore past glories. They have a tough hurdle to navigate against Gowna in Breffni first though, that will be a cracker.

Poor shot selection cost NC at the end. Player went for glory when it was not on and St Eunans took full advantage when the ball dropped short with the winning score. Small margins but this is what gets teams over the line.

Very high standard of match the second half. I think that next year the big two seem to be the teams to beat. Will be very interesting if the next 3 or 4 clubs raise their game next year to get to top table. Eunan will be strong and N Chonaill will have Gallagher back in midfield which should be a boost.

Totally agree with the statement but I don't blame O.Doc for going for glory if he hadn't of taken that type shot in the semi then we wouldn't even be in the final and on a Donegal aspect he went for glory in an ulster final which got us extra time and we subsequently won the final against Armagh so he was in his right to go for it.

I would not blame the player for having a go, but with two points up, we had 3 possessions and got no score. That was the difference between winning or bringing it to a replay.
But we can talk all day and it won't change the result, the fact is the two teams are evenly matched, and it was always going to come down to the wire.
There were days when we got the luck and won, Sunday was Eunans day, so good luck to them.
I also think maybe there was a distraction with the roart news coming out that week, add to that the injuries and it was always going to be tough.
But roll on Donegal now and next season.

Would agree with this. Odhran has proven in the past that he has the technique and bottle to land crucial scores when required. On another day he might have landed that score, and Niall O'Donnell's brilliant two-pointer might have drifted wide. That's sport.
