Replying To Eire89:  "Molla Cullen have some a backroom team inter county teams would be jealous of. Clare selector Kieran Murphy and Brian Roche from the Offaly senior hurling set-up & James horan not to mention a certain Caroline Currid involved. got a new goalie from Cavan and have Gallagher rteturning from Antrim. The way they have used the "transfer" system the last few years has played a huge role in their success. Niall walsh & O Gallagher Thomas Clarke & O reilly all played huge roles in their recent success. They are a serious outfit with a serious backroom team and definitely feel there is an AI for them and I make them huge favorites for frank fox. Add missing players Connelly Cooke S Kelly G Davoren to the mix from their last game against dunmore."
I presume poster is making a game attempt to refer to Moycllen or Maigh Cuilinn and Eire89 is getting a fair amount correct about the back room teams and inter county teams aren't the only jealous, as for missing players, Davoren played last Sunday v Dunmore I assume the Connelly he refers to is D Conneely, O'Reilly I'm told only played for 2 or 3 years at adult level after finishing under age.Niall Walsh has been in Moycullen for 8 or 9 years O Gallagher moved away last year but has rejoined them again this year for whatever his reasons are. They also have a Physio and a Medic who had a hand in other sports and teams.

I hope they don't win it because of this all the transfers and throwing money at everything while all fringe players leave not to worried about the future of the club,

Long way to go yet lads and show a bit of respect. Not their biggest fan but a lot of work went on in that club last few years. You would wonder why SKGAA, Barna, Claregalway, Michaels, James', Oranmore Maree have had such little impact on the senior championship over the last decade.

Does anyone know if PJ or his management team go to watch any of the club football games? I do go to as many games as possible each week over the last 3 years and I have never once spotted him bar the county final.

Gallagher and Walsh have been in Maigh Cuillin village about 9 years now, they're local at this stage. Walsh is engaged to a local girl, and Gallagher is a doctor and was moved to a different hospital or something on those lines, he was at all the games last year. Their new goalie had a very poor game on Sunday, will they bring in Greally? Wynne still their strongest footballer.

Who is lacking respect? Alot of work has gone into every club but they have definitely done alot of work in the transfer market and their star studded back room teams. Mark MCHugh James Horan Caroline Currid to name a few. Thats why you really must admire what corofin did and continue to do winning with "their own players" much more value to it then what moola cullen have done. I do believe they will County and also think they will go far in AI the loss to brigids in Connacht final last year was a game they could have and possibly should have and then Brigids elt same in the AI final against Dingle one they definitely could have won. O Gallagher being back (transfer from Antrim in case you didn know) is huge he is a huge player for them and makes them tick - do feel PJ under used him
