The most over hyped team in GAA history. And it's normally the fans loosing the run of themselves and then roaring & abusing all around them when it doesn't go to plan. Continuing on from today, and some previous games, hopefully the underdogs continue to win in the closing stages of both the football and hurling championships. It would be great to see imo. Underdog streak broken now, so you can relax… ;o) In all seriousness, I will be absolutely shocked if the Munster men don't win Sam now that Armagh, Donegal and to a lesser extent Galway, are gone. The Tyrone game was their wake up call imo…! On Galway, surely it is time to change their coaching setup before their stalwarts retire…! One off minor titles don't lead to much - now winning a few in a row, or adding a minor win to an U20 win and your building a future senior team who could win an All Ireland. Of all that competitions that needs a B competition - minor is it. 14 counties have never won an All Ireland minor and only one of them have won an All Ireland in the last 100 years. Leinster Kildare, Kilkenny, Wexford, Longford, Carlow, Wicklow Connacht Leitrim, Sligo Ulster Antrim, Donegal, Fermanagh, Monaghan Munster Limerick, Waterford I would have though if you wanted to give weaker counties a change to develop their young players - having a competition that allows them play into the summer would be the best way to do it. tirawleybaron (Mayo) - Posts: 1977 - 06/07/2026 09:24:01 2684438 Link
