Any county with aspirations of winning Sam would have concerns about facing Jim. His record speaks for itself. Im merely pointing out that he's consistently used the "them against us" narrative as a motivational tool and with considerable success. That said he's still 0 for 1 against Galway in Championship football ;-) ahsure. (Galway) - Posts: 1775 - 01/06/2026 17:38:42 2677069 Link 1 |

Enjoy Love Island tonight. Maybe Galway will win something yet this season.

Thanks for putting this up, as I siad before there is no footage showing McGuinness touching O'Connor, you see O'Connor taking a slight move back but he was facing into the wind.

This was shared https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2lbIt7gw3KA by another poster and I would appreciate it if you could let me know when you see McGuiness touch O'Connor, all you see is Jim walking towards O'Connor, O'Connor Flinches or the strong breeze that was there puts him slightly off balance. But at no point has there been any video evidence of McGuiness touching O'Connor. And you can be sure if there was it would have been shared with us all.

So it is Sean mac Cumhaill park, delighted it is ready. Saturday night please at 7pm. The GAA dragged us to Cork and Killarney for Saturday games.

Confirmed for Ballybofey by Jarlath Burns via Mary Coughlan

Not a bad draw. Cork away wouldn't have been ideal. They have some good players so they definitely cannot be taken for granted. Jarlath Burns seemed to indicate that the game will be in MacCumhaill Park. Hopefully that will be the case. I wouldn't think Cork will take a big support up? Should be plenty of tickets available. Clare, you'll surely be in Omagh with Mayo.

I'd imagine it won't be a late night game. Unfair to Cork supporters. My guess is early on the Saturday.

Very happy with that draw. Cork a decent team but without wanting to stereotype them, often don't travel well. Added incentive after getting caught by them 2 years ago. Once I heard we were getting back to ballybofey, I didn't care who was drawn out after that. Looking forward to it now. Monaghan/Roscommon , Derry/Meath and Tyrone/Mayo are the ties I'd be most interested in and find hardest to call. WeGoAgain (Donegal) - Posts: 198 - 02/06/2026 11:22:57 2677244 Link 0 |

Sure we might as well stay at home!

I certainly won't be taking this game for granted, especially not after the last time we played you. But I'm happier to playing Cork at home than Armagh or Tyrone away. Familiarity breed contempt and no doubt more controversy and all that. And happy to avoid Galway for now too. I'm sure Cork won't be fearing us either as you have a good record against us down through the years and know how to win against us. Should be a mighty battle. Ah now, don't be like that lol! If I'm confident I say it... don't believe in the oul yerra business. I was in cork 2 years ago and would be very wary of them but I hope home advantage will swing it for us. Do come up and give it a go though ;-)
