Have seen some ridiculous prices for hotels down there already, all going well am going to campervan it down the Saturday morning...hoping for a Saturday evening throw in and back up the round early enough on Sunday...anyone know when dates/times will be announced?

I don't agree, I think its better to hit them head on in the 1st round and take our chances and build momentum. If we threw round 1, we probably would end up getting Tyrone or Derry away a few days later, slippery banana skin. Commodore (Donegal) - Posts: 1819 - 05/05/2026 14:15:48 2671112 Link 0 |

Campervan would be the right job. I'm thinking of hitting Galway Friday evening after work. Down to Killarney early Saturday morning and back up to Galway after. Hopefully for a good celebratory feed of pints. Lockjaw (Donegal) - Posts: 10322 - 05/05/2026 15:45:57 2671152 Link 1 |

No not yet, but there were some indications that it would likely be Saturday.

I heard that Killarney Chamber of Commerce prefer Saturday evening for those big games, as makes it more of weekend for local business, as visiting fans would be more inclined to stay over. However the fight between GAA+ and RTE over the game might decide it.

Sure if you're happy to settle for second best...... Speaking of second best the anniversary of your one and only appearance in the big final is coming up in 2030. Are there any events planned to mark the occasion? Newman21 (Donegal) - Posts: 58 - 06/05/2026 14:41:07 2671310 Link 1 |

Don't think many Counties dream of being second best?

Nah - no time at all. It's a fairly short list of achievements to read through. Newman21 (Donegal) - Posts: 58 - 07/05/2026 09:43:13 2671408 Link 0 |
