Blown away with the athleticism on display in Armagh tonight. Fit, fast and strong ball carriers with brilliant football ability. Massive credit to all involved.

I'm a little more cautious, I am unsure if we can hold there fire power for 70 minutes, its a huge step up on cavan and they have taken us apart in the past with minimum fuss. Like ourselves derry can blow hot and cold but I just feel they will get by us."

The better teams take a higher percentage of their scoring opportunities. Monaghan were simply better than Cavan.

Serious game last night, it was never in doubt. Fair play to the players for looking for changes a few weeks ago, and they backed it up when it mattered. Special mention to Neil and Darren on their work, it might go unnoticed by some but those inside the dressing room knows

A fantastic display. Congrats to Paul O'Connor and his management team. Of course Paul's involvement with these young lads did not just start when he took over as manager. Shame he is not still on Cloghan.
