Seeing Kerry beat you again in the final will be even more satisfying than last year now

Cavan were relegated to div 3 in 2020. A week later Banty ball gifted them a comeback v us and the rest is history they won ulster. To be fair to them I cant recall a cavan side that hasn't shown up against monaghan. Even in 2010s we struggled to beat them when we had a far better side. We always appear suprised when we play them and they play like men possessed almost to beat us.

What a mess did not even know there was games today. Shambles and yet the website is showing ulster league games which are pointless challenge matches.

My point is this is the Monaghan forum & the past number of weeks it's seen alot of bandwagoners from outside the county come on to give their opinions on a struggling team. We are very aware of the state of affairs and don't need reminded by county's who have won very little themselves or have very short memories. Id be hoping the admin could use some common sense when clearing messages and not allow each forum turn into a tit for tat. Why do you care anyway? According to Vetern/Tom, the Ulster Championship is a Mickey Mouse cup that Monaghan aren't interested in!

Derry will be an interesting one. Plenty of challenge matches played and training since November so no better time to play them than the first round. We'll be favourites against Donegal and will justify it. Antrim and Fermanagh are just a given and no disrespect meant to them.

Donegal a very good team. 4Masters won 3 Ulster titles at club level with that crop of players, nevermind Roarty… Hard to call, we are inherent underachievers at u20s, I'd put most of that blame on the standard on club football. Tyrone seem to have got the recipe for success so be foolish to write them off also. AI winners will come out of Ulster, of that I'd put my house on. It has went down hill over the last few years, used to be excellent. I get that it's reliant on volunteers but our website and social media is way behind other counties, it should be the key way of promoting our games in the county. They have also now added an app to further convolute the whole thing, maybe get our website sorted before adding any more layers!
