Replying To Seanfan:  "Were 4 changes to that line-up and did we only use 3 subs?
A poor performance yet ran up 2-14 and took the lead near the end but 2 late 2 pointers for Sligo allied to Ros missing a last seconds long range free gave Sligo a 1 point victory.

That's the warm ups over. Real business begins next Sunday but the realistic business will be the following Sunday v Monaghan."
A week to try sort out a lot of problems. It's just so disjointed from defense to attack. No clear idea of what we are trying to do. Sligo looked well coached I have to say and best of luck to them for the year ahead they have some brilliant footballers. For ourselves Its going to be a tough league campaign. Of the couple of Brigid's lads aren't coming back its going to be tougher.

Replying To Ros2013:  "Supporters would want to calm down regarding the fbd. It's a few challenge matches. There will be a complete change of pace going into the league. Whether it's enough to stay up is debatable considering our size losing the Brigids lads. It's all about Connacht this year"
Thats where I think it's completely wrong. I think we should be aiming for the next 3 years to stay in division 1 and get our young lads coming up playing at that standard for a few years and then look at championship. What are we going to achieve by being relegated and maybe winning a connacht title every 5 years and that's it. Look at Monaghan they put everything into league for years and got knocked out in championship by longford and other teams them years but eventually they got to the next level and stood toe to toe with the big teams in championship after staying in division one for a sustained amount of time. If we get relegated this year what's going to change. It's been the same for years up and down and still no where near the top teams so I'd be all on for putting absolutely everything into the league for a few years and get to a level where then we are taken seriously and can challenge top teams

Yes to the changes before throw in and subs brought on. For some reason the mods didn't publish my earlier reply to you.

The very best of luck to St Brigids in All-Ireland final tomorrow.

You're completely but whether that's possible year to year it's another thing. For us we need absolutely everyone available to us to achieve this. However year to year we normally lose two to three regular and one of our top players down to travelling, work commitments etc. a county of our size just can't sustain this
When trying to maintain division 1 status.

Beat of luck to our County Champions, St Bridgets today.
We're all lending ye our support today.
That will end at midnight as the plotting and planning to relieve ye of the Fahy Cup will begin tomorrow.
