Replying To ORIELMAN85:  "Obviously you dont pay much attention to Monaghan football if you did you would know that O'Toole and McCarthy played a big part in their final win. Also it was a final that was there for the taking in the final quarter of normal time. Unfortunately for Inniskeen they took too many wrong pptions down the stretch."
The moment Inniskeen lost that game IMO was when Woods passed up the Two Pointer to Meegan put them a point ahead. 3 years in a row we've played them now and not once have they led at any stage in those games. If they hade have taken the lead over us it would've been a huge mental boost for them, nevermind a momentum swinger. Thankfully didn't come to that.

Just went for look on the Cavan club championship page, there's a total of 7 comments, not much interest from what's supposedly a better comp than our own.

Jack Mohan one of top scorers in the champ! Can't even get in top 30 for the seniors. Also, not a brother of Cian

Good one in fairness. Cavan senior teams tend to do poorly in ulster competition. Many have small populations, there are no clubs dominating the county setup, like your champions, and often they don't take it as serious as they perhaps should. Look at kingscourt for example, with one of their best players taking a break, absolutely well deserved by the way, rather than playing in Ulster.
Your champions are successful because they don't operate on a level playing field. Other than them, your club teams are very poor in Ulster in the last few decades. They're a ridiculous outfit. An amalgamation of multiple parishes and then transferring in county level players from both within and without the county. Let's see how they go against the like of Kilcoo.

Some rather strange selections for the Junior All Star squad. Nonetheless a big achievement for all the lads.

Intermediate team all well deserved but the league winners only taking home 2 all stars. I just don't know...

Maybe if you looked a little closer you would have noticed that it is the Champiosship All Stars. To be honest the well beaten Intermediate Championshop semi-finalist got well looked after. The Junior team was probably spot on this year for a change.

Multiple parishes ? Last time I checked Scotstown is in Tydavnet parish. There only is one parish.

Who's all these transferred players ? Jack is only player who has came in… and as per county by law his family live in Scotstown and his father played for them.. max Maguire is his first cousin even. All above board.

Other players ? Who ?

What about Jordan Morris… the Meath man

Agree it's a championship team, carrick rested there squad for that league final. Intermediate team all well deserved! All south monaghan team

Not sure on the junior team, emyvale with a strong representation! seems to be a lot of talk around Jack mohan from scotstown being blatantly robbed of one.

Interesting to see the senior team?

Well then I can't see how there were representatives from Eire Og and Blackhill. Considering both teams were out at the championship quarter final.

I just Disagree with it being only based on the championship. The senior all star team looks grand though.
