The Senior is fixed as a double header Sunday week . I would have thought the intermediate would be the same but the James' and Cloughbawn fixture is faced for New Ross Saturday week while the other semi is fixed for Wexford Park the same evening." I happen to know the Camogie Senior & Intermediate Finals are fixed for Wexford Park on the Saturday afternoon of that weekend. And that if weather looks like it wouldn't allow three matches on the one day, their Intermediate Final is to move, so that the Intermediate Hurling semi-final can go ahead in the evening. Would presume that if it wasn't for the Camogie, the Intermediate Hurling semi-finals would have been the usual double-header on the Saturday. Would also presume that in light of all that's going on, if Camogie came looking for Wexford Park for their finals but were told "no, we're going to use it for men's matches, despite the fact that we could fix those men's matches some other way and let you have it anyway", it would have opened a real can of worms. Can you just half agree its probably down to coaching and commitment more than anything else. And the same goes with most teams that are above average." Absolutely Ill half agree with that. Nurture is probably more important than nature even. Id go good coaching/parenting/commitment is probably more than 50% the reason a good team is good. Hopefully most of those lads who played in that game last week will stay playing, practicing and improving and make good club adult players.
