Id probably go the same, but maybe James Byrne instead of one of the Codds.
I really really hope Darragh Carley has a great game if he starts against Dublin, he needs one at this stage for his confidence.
Id like to see Cian Byrne get good gametime too, the pitch up there will suit him better than the soft pitches so far maybe. Although they are giving plenty of rain this week so that might not be the case.
Cillian Byrne played a good chunk of the challenge game against Tipp, anyone who has been playing alot in the League so far had that night off apparently, would be good to see him too sooner rather than later as the League is halfway over already right now. Other lads have been mentioned as really flying in training, so it might be good to see them Saturday at some stage also."
Didnt hear anything about the Tipp game but was judging by the scoreline we competed well. Would like to see Darragh Kehoe and Eoin Whelan at some stage in this league. Not many opportunities left though only 3 games to go and this is the key game in regards to promotion.
I agree on Carley . He looks to have bulked up hugely but to be fair to him im not sure he's a corner back.
Of the two Codds I thought Darren Codd had a decent game the last day. David was more quiet I too wouldnt be against James Byrne starting in his place.
I agree on Cian wouldnt be totally against him starting Croker will suit him. Would like to see Cillian at some stage over the next 3 games too. If we give Cillian Byrne , Darragh Kehoe and Eoin Whelan debuts that would be a huge amount of experience given to young players over the league.
Interesting to hear of other lads flying in training have you heard any names?

I'd go similar enough but would maybe go with Dempsey instead of Donohoe and have Dempsey at full-back, maybe Conor Foley at wing-back then (Am half-wondering whether we should try Richie Lawlor out at corner-back)

May as well test him IMO, Simon already has a lot of experience and you could always start him the next two games to get him up to speed for Championship

I'm not too sure we should get overly fixated on the number of Wexford lads on Fitzgibbon squads, you'd imagine we should already have a decent enough handle on where these players stand after having watched them at Minor and U20

You're never really going to get a situation from a Wexford perspective where you've good Minors/U20s and bad Fitzgibbon representation (And vice-versa)

If anything, U20 should be the most telling one as most Fitzgibbon hurlers will have hurled U20 but not all U20s hurl Fitzgibbon (Be that because they don't go to college or because they hurl Ryan Cup)

Replying To Viking66:  "We had 5 lads starting for TUD in the Ryan Cup Final also. Think there were 8 of our lads on their panel. With them winning and getting promoted back up to Fitzgibbon that will likely boost our numbers too.
SETU Carlow shouldve won their SF against Thurles too, maybe next year they might win the Ryan Cup."
While im not a fan of the celebrity, i think Davey has proven that things can be turned around pretty quickly ( even in absence of underage success) when the environment for that change is provided.
