Replying To Seanfan:  "Hyde Park is NOT in M**o"
You can see the confusion though when you have Roscommon/Ballaghdereen men playing for Mayo, the Hyde is in Mayo's backyard regardless how you look at it. No odds now anyway, we beat them and knocked them out for good measure. There's no Moore time for Mayo this year.
I'm expecting some big announcement from Mayo in the next few days, either some man is retiring or rumoured to be or some big word on the a new management team, Mayo love to be in the news agenda round All Ireland time.

Replying To S1234:  "Hyde park is NOT in Mayo for christ sake ! It was a neutral venue . Of course it was silly to complain . Where exactly did you want the game? You lot eould have it down the road from your home ground and an ulster ref if you had your eyes. This is self entitlement and arrogance. Kerry by 5 or more ."
I didn't state it was in Mayo but its a lot closer to Mayo than Donegal.

It was stated Jim was silly to complain. He had every right to. End of story.

It is, granted. But is still a neutral venue, as Croke Park or indeed Wexford Park would be.

Why are you ranting about mayo when your own county is in an all Ireland final in 3 days time?

Or another financial scandal. It's all they have to talk about these days.

Replying To Al_Maguire:  "It's not 'Jim' McGuinness's job to speak or advocate or bemoan on behalf of Kerry. That's your managers job.

And no he wasn't writing off kerry by not doing Jackie (if we are insisting on using wrong names) O'Connors job."
June 14th: Kerry v Meath, Tullamore.
June 15th: Donegal v Mayo, Roscommon. "Everybody else had a fair shake this weekend." - Jimmy McGuinness.
Jimmy can bemoan all he wants. "Everybody else had a fair shake this weekend" only makes sense when Jimmy was speaking of All Ireland contenders. He must have been dismissive of Kerry's prospects after the result on the preceding day. It is what it is. The facts are the facts.

Facts were Jackie O'Connor had enough to be coy about after a comprehensive beating by Meath. So Jackie didn't stand up for his own players over Tullamore. Very disrespectful of Jackie to not back his own players.

Enough of this nonsense talk....

I've seen Donegal wee allocated 13,700 tickets, due to some kind of mistake allocating memberships correctly on the foireann system by various clubs(I think). How many did Kerry get? Curious to know how badly the memberships have been handled up here, not complaining, just want to compare for a baseline estimate of how many missed out through no fault of their own.

Ah poor oul Kerry. only 38 All Irelands and a free run to a soft Munster Championship year in year out, I can where the Healey-Raes get their charm.

Replying To CiarraiMick:  "Yewtree is correct. The week leading up to the final should be enjoyed but Im like you Lockjaw as Im nervous etc. I have nt been posting much recently but have been reading and alot of the comments are sad.

Who cares who is supporting who! I have no problem as its human nature.I envisage most neutrals want Donegal to win and thats natural. If Kerry were nt in it I would probably like to see them win too.

Iim McGuinness is a top manager and win or lose that cannot be takwn away from him.Michael Murphys comeback is the stuff of legend and if Donegal win will be one of the all time great gaa stories.

Hope its a good clean game and may the best team win.Safe travels to all supporters ."
In fairness so Is jack

Donegal to win between 6-8 points. This game is quite straightforward. Kerry might have 3 great forwards but 3 won't be enough against Donegals 8 or 9 scoring threats. Can't believe how many are tipping Kerry

Ah lads, this has been done to death at this stage.

All roads lead to Croke Park this weekend and that's that.

if we are to get a competitive game on Sunday Clifford will have to score a minimum of 2 goals and 10 points and i cant see this happening as jimmey will have a plan for him Donegal by 6 points

Seafóid. Kerry could win with Clifford not even having a big day. They could also lose, even if he shoots the lights out.
The game will come down to who dominates the kickouts and who is best at stifling the other team and winning turnovers. Both teams have plenty forwards who will score enough, if they get sufficient possession. The more ball they get on the front foot, the more danger there is. Particularly turnover ball moved at pace.

There is a very sneaky side to Donegal. Remember one of Jimmy mcGuinness s best friends was caught up a tree with a camcorder spying on the Kerry team in Tralee before an All Ireland final. Now this was done against the Dubs in 1992 aswell. Brian MC Eniff admitted in a recording I watched last night that that Donegal had an ex Sgt spying on the Dublin team in 1992 . Can they not just go about their business like most counties. There are reasons Donegal are not liked.
