Replying To ForeverBlue2:  "Why did the GAA appoint 2 Ulster referees for the All Ireland semifinals when 2 Ulster teams are involved…? I have no doubt both are capable referees but why would the GAA risk controversy like this when alternatives from outside either provinces were readily available for either matches…?"
Where the referees are from is immaterial, it's the quality that counts?

I suppose when you slice and dice it - Meath and Tyrone are the in form teams. Group winners. Quarter final winners. Kerry and Donegal both have tough tasks ahead of them next week.

The lad from Kildare Brendan Cauley is a cert for the football final. Guaranteed

Sums you up to a tee, a top referee from your own county who has given superb service for many years gets a semi final and totally deserved and yet you find a reason to whinge.

Good grief! That is possibly the worst effort of yerraism since the late '70's!

Aren't you the individual that was non stop campaigning on here in the 2nd half of the teens to have Dublin named a fifth province and get the county team spilt into the Dublin Council divisions?

* Louth would have drawn against Kildare.
* Mayo would have beaten Donegal.
* Galway would have beaten Derry rather than a draw.
Interesting and VERY RELEVANT statistics. Personally I think that the two pointer makes the game more exciting, leaves more space inside and gives the team behind and their supporters a little more hope."
Don't want to put anyone to the bother of doing the stats analysis but would be interesting to see how results would be altered if the 2 pointers from play stood and 1 point was max you could score from a free irrespective of distance.

Oh it is indeed. Good point. It has been a natural evolution. Split in three.

That 15 minutes of football from Kerry could have changed everything.

Will they now embrace that mindset and flourish with new rules and dominate the game or was that the highest aspirational of play that they will struggle to reach again?

If they reach 80% of that 15 minutes, hard to see anyone stopping them though obviously I hope its Donegal that do. I'll worry about that only if we beat Meath first.

Both Donegal and Kerry the obvious favourites but neither has maintained a high quality of game for majority of their matches. Maybe that's impossible to reach in today's game.

The facts are the facts. Tyrone beat Donegal. Meath shocked Kerry. Both were very impressive in winning their groups and their quarter finals. Tyrone and Meath are gas playing down their chances despite very much being the in form teams and genuine favourites really, it has to be said.

The groups and quarter finals are history. Will have zero bearing on the semi finals.

Meath and Tyrone favourites.!!!
What a nonsense post.

What a Yerra Yerra WUM.
In their DNA.

The mask slips every now and then but true colours always come out in the end.

And I dont need a certain poster coming on here having his usual defensive go either.

Jack O Connor wouldn't agree with you. He claims you and others of your county are disrespectful of a great Kerry team with your poor mouth and negativity.

The bitterness will eat you Fionn. You have a problem with a couple of posters and you come out with "its in their dna."
Thats the same DNA Brian Fenton has as had Brian Mullins (r.i.p) Cian O Sullivan ,Alan Bernard and Paul Brogan,Keith Galvin,Darragh O Connell.

Your hatred of Kerry means you dont think your comments through.
