Now we have a set of rules which results in every team being able to have a good rattle off anyone. Kick a few two pointers and you will keep afloat in any game. If your off you game at all, you'll be devoured on the kick out and you are in big trouble.
Tyrone were far better than Donegal yesterday and no one saw that coming in Ballyboffey.
You'd have to say that Armagh look to be the best team at the minute, but have the toughest route to the All Ireland left.
Paddy power has Kerry at 23/10 and Tyrone, Donegal, Armagh and Dublin at 11/2
Don't see how Kerry are such big favourites but obviously the handy draw means a lot to Paddy Power anyway"
Kerry are absolutely guaranteed a quarter final in Tralee against a lower seed.
The difference this year is that it is not as predictable and they might catch one even at that stage, and will certainly be coming up against a very good side in the semi finals and I would not even attempt to confidently predict who they might be.
I said it before that I thought Monaghan had adapted well to the new rules and while they gave away four sloppy goals yesterday the seemed from the footage to be building on their good league. Probably done a favour by exiting Ulster. If they can tighten up defensively they'll be a threat to anyone.

Monaghan were very sloppy at times and the 4 goals reflect that. But they minced a Louth team who looked jaded to be fair. Lavelle was back but a bit rusty. If they keep him fit and get young Louis Kelly into the defence it will tighten things up. Stephen OHanlon enjoyed himself yesterday, his best championship showing in a while. Stephen Mooney is coming good too.

Why you say that Barney? If Kerry get a home quarter final it could be against anyone like Dublin Atmagh Donegal Tyrone Galway etc. Is that not the case? Example two of Armagh Dubs and Galway will prob be in prelim quarters.Same with Donegal Tyrone Mayo

Agreed on Kerry Barney but not being tested until knockout rounds could catch them. Current form is more important than seeding. Yerselves, Meath, Cavan, Tyrone getting results when they matter. Some counties seem to be timing their run for All Ireland Series and beyond so their seedings weren't great because they just got through league and provincials ticking away before the real stuff gets going.

Get with the programme......no home quarter finals, except for Dublin.
