Replying To BarneyGrant:  "Every team with ambition will be taking the league seriously. Ridiculous to believe otherwise. The compressed season makes it more difficult as games come thick and fast. Risk of injuries and managers need to know their panel for the championship by late March.

Little margin for error and none for taking it easy and hoping to get up to the required level by April.

Looking greatly forward to it. From Dublin perspective our ambitions be lower than Limerick but anything less than promotion and making top three in Leinster be disappointment.

Not long now!"
You'd want to add being competitive in the Leinster final and the All Ireland quarter final as well Barney. Last year's Leinster final and All Ireland quarter final involving Dublin were both very, very poor.

Seems like a bit of a low blow.

I wouldn't categorise Dublin's quarter final performance as very very poor. They were lacking in confidence but had lots of opportunities in that game particularly in the first half.
