Same with Kerry footballers in munster.
The cats haven't won an all ireland in 10 years and that I am certain is killing them.
We on the other hand even if we reach a leinster final ( a distant memory now ) would be seen by us as progress.
The difference is world's apart."
Yes thats what im saying we should have ambition like that not accepting a leinster final is a good year for us why shouldnt we be thinking all irelands.

I wasn't sure during the week I was so mad but we have to just keep going. The hard days make the great ones all the sweeter.

I remember 19 afternoon the penalty went in harking back to all the beatings we got from Limerick, tipp, Kilkenny, Cork, and even Offaly and how grateful I was that day.

I might say I'm nervous now. We better perform today. Already feels like such a waste of a year.

Only a good few positional changes . And a bit of a surprise as in who is on instead of Liam.

Tbh realistically there were only 2 counties thinking AIs when the Round Robins started. I know conne Ted people in Clare, Tipp, Waterford, Galway, Dublin and Kilkenny. Not one of them thought their county had a realistic chance of an AI, in Clares case on account of key players being injured, and the rest because they just don't think they're good enough this year.

Dead rubber today Lads no two ways of looking at it. Especially with Antrim now certain to lose in Galway after their red card. I wouldn't be surprised at all if Offaly beat us today. If Westmeath and Antrim.can then why can't Offally.

The most depressing thing about this season was we were effectively finished on May 10th. Repeat that....out of championship May 10th. We are left with the usual ifs and buts. Never easy be a Wexford fan but something about this year is very disappointing that I can't quite place. Maybe we never got going. We were always going to beat Antrim.but in the games that mattered we were found wanting.

It'll be a long winter to the start of the league and God knows who will retire. We are hoping the Dubs do us a massive favour tomorrow but let's be honest it ain't likely.

Sorry for the depressing post but that's how I feel. Also rans. All we are looking for is something encouraging and I haven't seen it.

Maybe you will see it in the Park today. Assume you are going?

I dunno if beating a team just up from joe Mac is grounds for optimism, I'd get more of a lift out of Dublin winning tomorrow and then maybe there would be a buzz for the final day instead of an atmosphere that feels like the openong of a new pitch or somethig. Always cagey games these, if we win by loads lads will say we were playing a poor team, if we are beaten then all hell breaks loose.

Darragh Carley and Jack o Connor the only lads who look like they want to be here.

I think it's 8 maybe 9 wides so far Been poor enough stuff in the 1st half, only 1.6 scored in 35 minutes of hurling shows how poor it's been 1.1 from play isn't nearly good enough

That was a brutal half of hurling from both sides

Would like to see Mac on at HT, keep him inside with Cian Byrne and then have Rory and Lee out in the half-forward line

Can't let them work the ball out short against the wind

That goal we conceded was like the ones conceded against Dublin, just route one and we get cleaned out in the breaks

Been doing stats on Darragh, in fairness he's trying, hes had around 6 possessions, 2 lost in contact, 1 won in contact, 1 won loose ball, 1 good long pass, 1 bad short pass, and he gave away a free and dropped a ball. Not much end product so far. But as you say you can't fault his effort.
Kevin Foley trying hard also. Dunbar shocking tbh, standing off for the most part. Hearne quiet. Need more from our midfield.

Byrne and Casey poor enough too.
