Replying To Crashingwaves:  "If that were the case, it would make Donegal woeful altogether!"
You think so? Interesting opinion.
Shane Walsh, Matthew Tierney and maybe Paul Conroy as an impact sub would make the 2012 Donegal team.
I do rate Comer but there is only room for 1
Number 14 and Comer is not winning that one.

It's not an opinion, it's looking at the facts. Donegal lost twice this year. The two best teams, whether you like it or not, are in the final. Armagh beat Kerry, the All Ireland champions of 2022 and Galway beat Dublin, last years All Ireland winners. Whichever team wins next Sunday will be worthy champions. Comparing today's teams to those of another decade is a waste of time imo. Donegal's present team is also a very good team. I imagine Donegal, Kerry and Dublin will be much stronger next year.

Replying To katser:  "There are alot of things Galway need to remember while playing that Armagh crowd over the last couple of years!
They will obviously target Galway and try start brawls but if we remain disciplined and play to our strengths and utilise our gifted skilful footballers then we will finish them."
Yes that's the most remarkable result of this years championships the one that has been a turning point for Galway to now IMO go on to win the All-Ireland title and their first in 23 years. No Dublin or Kerry as oppostion in the final, all key players fit and named to start no excuse for Galway now to land Sam.

P.S I'm in the top 8 the prediction competition you are down in 20th.

Replying To Gaa_lover:  "My Prediction for Sunday. Galway like the group game a month ago to be leading by half time by a couple of points and come the final quarter to be leading by 5 or 6 points. Armagh then to come with a late rally but will be too little to late on this occasion

Full time Galway 0-15 Armagh 0-14.

Scorers Galway S Walsh 0-5 3fs, R Finnerty 0-3 2fs,P Conroy 0-1, Dylan McHugh 0-1 Liam Silke 0-1. M Tierney 0-1,D Comer 0-1,C McDaid 0-1,J Heaney 0-1

Armagh C Turbitt 0-4 2fs, R O'Neill 0-3 1f and 1 45, S Campbell 0-2,R Grugan 0-2 2fs, Barry McCambridge 0-1,A Foker 0-1,
Niall Grimley 0-1."
I foresee similar happening. Not expecting a classic, two teams built on strong defences waiting on the opposition to make errors so they can exploit them. The fact they have conceded 0-13 and 0-14 per game average tells me the "marquee forwards" will do will to excel, maybe the opportunity other forward to stand up and score more than he normally do when Walsh,Finnerty,O'Neill,Turbitt,Grugan are getting the most attention? Both have a good spread of scorers that greatly helps in modern football. Both have strong benches to call on and in the terms of fitness and conditioning they have proved themselves to be top two as they made Kerry and Donegal look fatigued which takes some doing.

I see you also went for Donegal to beat Galway in the Semi Final!

Donegal should be stronger next year. Not sure where the players are coming from to make Kerry and Dublin " much stronger" next year. Very open final this year and very open championship next year.

No doubt we are all thinking here of what might have been but good luck to the two teams on Sunday and I am hoping Armagh can bring it back to Ulster but like a lot of games this year it is very difficult to call.

Galway brought as many fans to Sligo that day as Mayo brought on the short trip to Roscommon for the group game, which was a much more important game. Mayo's support has fallen off a cliff this year and Galway outnumbered them 2 to 1 at the Connacht final. Been a relatively big Galway support for much of the year

Best of luck to both sides tomorrow and especially safe travels to all. I'm impartial as to a winner and be happy to see either side win. Armagh because of the McGeaney factor who've I great respect for. I also admire how all the Armagh players really seem to be getting to the max of their ability. Similarly PJ spoke very graciously after the semi final. He was a great player in a fantastic Galway team that I loved to watch. The current Galway team have some fantastic players worthy of a Celtic cross. I think Galway's class and mean defense will see them win by at least two but it's a game that can come down to moments. I hope the officiating is fair and equal to both sides as in tight matches favourable reffing can make all the difference.

While the coach of the Galway team is a Kildare man, Kieran McGeeney will always have a special place in the hearts of all true Kildare Gaels. So for for 70+ minutes tomorrow I'll be an Armagh man.

I would dearly love to see Geezer join that elite band who have both captained and managed their counties to a senior All-Ireland title.

You'll be hoping I'm right on Sunday as it should allow you to stay away from the keyboard and celebrate the All Ireland victory.

Ye Galway have made the most of things, not their fault the better teams haven't put them away. If they get over the line Sunday, they will have earned the right to celebrate an unlikely All Ireland.

I was hoping you would change your mind and go for Armagh to win, because you gave us no chance v Dublin in QF and v Donegal SF and bam all of a sudden the lad who said no hopers from the West in the QF.

Kelly starting midfield is a sign Galway expect Armagh to drop off and give Galway the knockout. If galway are ahead later on Armagh will have to push up and Galway can bring on Darcy and go long

My prediction on Galway v Dublin was mainly based on Dublin rested going into that game and it was Galway playing their 3rd match in 14 days. I got the other three Quarter final results spot on if I recall right.

Seen Donegal and Galway as 50/50 and was to go for a draw. Won't be changing my mind as wouldn't make sense to pick Armagh when Galway have beaten Donegal and Dublin prior to tomorrow final.

I'd love to see Armagh win. They are great battlers and have some cracking players. However there's something about this Galway team. They have been to the well a few times in the past few years and not drank from it. I think they will tomorrow. They have a battle hardened look about them and better forwards. Galway by 3/4.

Like when was the last big game that kick-outs were not key?

Obviously hoping for a great game, I'd like to see Galway win, due to nothing more than their good performance a couple of years ago against Kerry in the final!
