It is said that one of the recent Chinese leaders was asked what effect he thought the French revolution had had on world history and events. his answer was that it was much too soon to make a proper evaluation of it. Oh dear. Being Left wing or Right wing has nothing to do with your views on sexual orientation or transgender issues. They are socio-economic terms. The former leader of our main Right wing party is in a same sex relationship. In your own country your current Secretary of the Treasury, in Trumps cabinet , Scott Bessent, is a member of the LGBT community. Personally I'm left wing, as in a Socialist, and I'd disagree strongly that transgender women should be allowed to compete in women's sports. They absolutely shouldn't be allowed, as they have an unfair biological advantage. That view has nothing whatsoever to do with my social, political, and economic beliefs as a left wing person.
