Replying To sleater:  "Anyone want to take a punt on what the starting 15 will be on Saturday against Cavan?

IMO , it's very hard to predict, given it's a new manager and the raft of players given match time during recent challenge games. I do think Bannigan will start Sean Jones and Andrew Woods. McAnespie is fit and flying. Think it will be between McCarron, Mooney and Garland for the other corner forward slot. One corner back slot will be up for grabs as a couple of half back positions. Midfield, I reckon Bannigan will opt for his club colleague Wilson to partner Mohan, though I would prefer McBennett. Possibly 1 or two league debutants starting with another couple coming in from the bench.

How about this starting 15? (but no doubt I'll be wildly wrong)

Rory Beggan
Ryan Wylie
Killian Lavelle
Ronan Boyle
Ciaran McNulty
Kieran Duffy
Conor McCarthy
Gary Mohan
Joel Wilson
Ryan McAnespie
Michael Bannigan
Stephen O'Hanlon
Stephen Mooney
Andrew Woods
Sean Jones"
I'd be surprised if McBennett didn't get a start. I thought he was one of the successes of last year. Time will tell.

not bad...if it was me - its probably something like

Beggan
Wylie, Lavelle, Boyle
McAnespie, Duffy, McCarthy
Mohan, Mcbennett
Bannigan, O'Hanlon, Hamill
Garland, Woods, Jones

Shifting mcanespie back gives room for hamill - both impressed in the mayo game...uve also got scotstown trio jack, o'toole and mccarville and despite what anyone else thinks theres plenty of capability there too

How many chances does Garland deserve. Mooney (and some others) a far better choice ! Is Jack available for league ? Has the full panel been announced for the league ?

Mooney an excellent player - Id love to see him start too but I threw in Garland for his frees. I just think he'll start too...Also Im not sure how many real chances he's actually gotten so go easy on the criticism

For me the new rules call for a young fast and fit full back line, id make wholesale changes here - need to blood the future now in div.2. Ryan Wylie was really poor last year and has looked off the pace ever since that infamous day in Derry.

Rory Beggan

Sean Jones, Andrew Woods and to a lesser extent Stephen O'Hanlon really needs to step up this year too - jack is on his home straight and there's no more Manzy heroics to bale us out. These lads are no young up and comers anymore and if they can't get it done then the manager should be looking past them to some of our U21's. We're in Div.2 now and there's no point settling for safe and average, need to look for the next crop of star men.

Same to you. Yet to see you pull together any sort of lineup, nothing posted here but criticism and troll comments. A real high stool genius you are.

What's the talk about it in Donegal? It seems fairly accurate from the word around the Corduff camp.

Is the Fermanagh man coaching there now or what's the craic? I know the move to Kildare didn't pan out.

A special football will in no doubt fit right in in this corduff team. Could he be this missing link in the quest to end the Scotstown & Currin amalgamation?"
A decent midfielder who should help in their quest to remain a senior club for another year, nothing special about anything he has done or achieved. Is there any other jobs going to attract the 10 or so others they would need to win a senior championship?
