Beggan will go down as one of the Monaghan greats. He will always be held in high regard in Monaghan. He's up there with the likes of MCmanus, the freeman brothers, Paul Finlay, Rory woods and Nicholas Corrigan

People are constantly giving out about the admission fees to GAA games. You could not put a monetary value of that game yesterday evening. That game will never be forgotten. It was cruel on Derry but sport is cruel sometimes.

I love an old chip on the shoulder makes mountains out of men. Hate being favourites and talked up. It doesnt suit our mentality. Mccaul coming on changed that game as derry had to retreat with Glass to cover their full back. He was unlucky not to have two goals. Write this group of monaghan players off at your peril. Special mention to stephen o hanlon he ran himself into the ground to mark ethan Doherty derrys best player and still managed to win that sideline. Bring on the ulster final.
