. .and did his job well, not like some of the pretenders.

Have to say it was a much improved monaghan showing and their best performance to date. We played with alot of pace and tackled quite well; frustrating dublin even it it was a low quality affair. Simple game really, missed to many chances and coughed the ball up cheaply which cost us. Dublin finished stronger and got the job done. All eyes now must be on cavan , getting the main players back and fit and ready to go. The next two weeks could be taxing, mayo in town next week and a trip to killarney which is always tough.

Replying To mick2007:  "A gusty performance littered with simple errors cost us the 2pts along with a failure to convert chances.. couldn't get our hands on either primary ball or breaking ball all night around the middle… stating the obvious but we need the likes of lavelle and McCarthy back asap to have a hope of beating Cavan… obviously both teams are in transition but it's quite staggering seeing how far Dublin have fallen back given their recourses..3rd favourites for Leinster… king con played in some incredible teams but his career is now going to Peter out in an average division 2 team…"
Cant argue with any of that about Dublin in all fairness... ;o(

I did reply to other Monaghan posters agreeing with what they say abut the Dubs but Admin didnt put them up.????
