Replying To MrPBoylan: "Big Weekend of hurling this weekend. Plenty to look forward to:
Hurling Championship KO Junior Hurling Championship Semi Final Clontibret v Latton Venue: Carrickmacross at 1800 Monaghan Harps waiting in the final for the winner. Could be a tight one though Clontibret hit form in recent games.
Hurling Championship KO Semi Final Castleblayney Hurling v Carrickmacross Hurling @ 1400 Inniskeen v Truagh @ 1545 Venue: Monaghan
Blayney to win in first semi-final. Haven't seen the Slevin's togged out for Carrick this year yet but if they turn up it'll be a close thing. Second semi is interesting, as an old Inniskeen have been flying it this year. Truagh flying in the spring have come off the rails a little bit. Inniskeen to win this one.
How long before Killevan make an appearance on this weekend in the future? Would be great to see it and good to see Latton there now." Boylan seriously, hurling?
The level of hurling in monaghan is pathetic I don't know anyone who actually cares

Replying To MrPBoylan: "You didn't hear the big announcement? Killevan are starting a hurling team and fair play to them." I saw the YouTube video with northern sound and skimmed through it thought might be more about killeevan. Is there hurling people there or is it grant money they are after and how can I apply for my own club who need ball nets

Great win by Latton in the junior hurling semi final last night. Their first ever championship win I reckon. Not bad for a club that's less than 5 years old. Fair play to all involved and those who got hurling started.

They lost two senior final to Blarney in the 2007 and 2009.

With the bye week just gone it leaves us with little to talk about however the business end of the season is now upon us with most games do or die. How do people see the groups panning out. My predictions are as follows:

Semi Final Clontibret V Corduff Inniskeen V Scotstown
Clontibret V scotsown Final with Scotstown winning
Relegation Group Aughnamullen Truagh Cremartin Magheracloone

Intermediate Quarters Blayney V Drumhowan Donaghmoyne V Harps
semis Carrick V Blayney Killanny V Donaghmoyne
Carrick to beat Killanny in final
Relegation Clones Doohamlet Tyholland Toome
Tyholland and Toome relegated

Replying To Monaghan_football: "All the accounts that were slagging off blayney over the last number of weeks have been awful quiet recently. Any reason why?" I suppose I'm one of the accounts you say has been awful quiet, which I have as I've been away.
Said clones would give Blaney their full of it and that Blaney won't win either the league or championship, clones drew with and shold have beaten them comfortably,so far I've been right so no reason to hide.
