Replying To Thesarsfields1975:  "Blackhill showed how beatable they can be there is nothing between these teams in junior..
Big game next for ourselves conceding to emyvale in the league could've been the play catch them on the hop in a must win game"
Not sure if this account is satire or not. But yes junior is wide open as it was last year but any team who goes up will more than likely go back down. The 2025 all Ireland junior champions will find it tough to get out of Monaghan.

Its a big game, because if you dont win it, your season is over.

Max mcginnity is a complete class act, kicked 1-12 out of 1-20. He didn't lick it off the ground either. Hated Adored Never Ignored

I know we like to have a laugh and joke on this site and I'll defend the Faughs to my core but in fairness the lads haven't done enough in last 10 years to instill confidence but our new batch of youngsters have been a breath of fresh air. A massive game for them in Aughnamullen on Wednesday night. If they can get over the line there confidence will be sky high and I can see them reaching league final and championship semi final at minimum. I've predicted all year that it will be Carrick v Blayney in league and champ final but looks like killany may finish top of Blayneys group on score diff so would mean Blayney v Doohamlet quarter final and winner plays Carrick with donaghmoyne v harps/clones qtr and winner plays killany

Are you related to Max by any chance?

Intermediate championship is taking shape nicely now, looking like killanny and carrick to top each group and id fancy blayney to join them in semis as they will likely meet Doohamlet in quarters. Donaghmoyne should be the other semi finalist

I've heard a lot about him but haven't seen him too much as he seems to be very injury prone. Similar to some of the other good up and coming players. Conor Leonard from Eire Og is another that jumps to mind. Having a strong town team like Blayney is good for Monaghan football but I don't think this current Blayney team are there yet.

Curious if Scotstown do be laughing at training how they can't be beat. So many to come back and other teams at peak performance and still can't get over them.

We'll see in a few weeks.
They are well good enough beat harps as there is absolutely nothing between the 2 teams.

They wont win the championship and will be lucky to get into a league semi Wednesday night

Carrick own the intermediate championship simple

Yes; they do own it and fair play to them for renting it to Killanny and Truagh the last two years, will be very interesting to see who they will brick it against this year. Only a few weeks to go now before there annual collapse on the big day.
