As far as I know Declan Brennan is part of Kevin Nolans management team. They worked together this year with u16 development squad. Kevin would have played under Brennan at Dcu where he managed best young players in the country, some of who won several all ireland. He has reputation of been top class at development players in all aspects of the games plus he has won many senior championships along with intermediate and junior. Great appointment in deed and with Nolan there Monaghan will be in good hands. Desman (Monaghan) - Posts: 35 - 04/10/2024 22:11:38 2573101 Link 0 |
If corduff had have kicked a few more high balls in the second half. Caused havoc in the inniskeen full back line. Wasn't over impressed with them apart from Tommy D farneygael3 (Monaghan) - Posts: 56 - 05/10/2024 18:33:49 2573172 Link 0 |
A stroll for Inniskeen. The early goal blew apart Corduffs game plan. Not much of a game plan when a goal can sink it. Eddie the Exile (Monaghan) - Posts: 1120 - 05/10/2024 18:53:17 2573176 Link 0 |
I think Inniskeen will give scotstown a right game of it. 222 (UK) - Posts: 803 - 05/10/2024 20:30:59 2573186 Link 0 |

Congratulations to Drumhowan on making the junior final. Very open game vs Toome. Both teams turned over the ball a lot of times. Don't think either would get away with that in intermediate next year if Toome have ambitions on the league and promotion. MrPBoylan (Monaghan) - Posts: 203 - 06/10/2024 09:13:33 2573217 Link 0 |
Massive win for Drumhowan last night, poor quality, but probably 5 or 6 point better team overall... currinman (Monaghan) - Posts: 39 - 06/10/2024 10:03:27 2573218 Link 0 |
Watched toome and drumhowan on clubber last night, fairly poor game. Lots of stray kickouts, terrible tackling, aimless shots and loosing possession. Junior looks a poor spectacle overall. Drumhowan probably deserved in in the end, they looked marginally better. Toome legs went late on. 222 (UK) - Posts: 803 - 06/10/2024 10:43:36 2573222 Link 1 |
It'll be a mammoth task for the village of Inniskeen taking on the Scotstown/Tydavnet/Knocktallon/Ballinode divisional outfit. The divisional side's hopes are boosted by the transfer of Jack McCurrin. Can only see this turning out one way.

Brennan could have been in the mix for the senior job down through the years. Great to see spending time developing the next generation though

Anything less than an ulster club this year will ultimately be another miserable failure….even with 5 adult teams to pick from id have my doubts without the currin that they'd even get out of Monaghan hence why McCaugue give such a passionate speech at the appeal hearing how jack was partly from scotstown……….this group of players club legacy will be judged on an whether they can get that coveted ulster title….

Good to see you copy and paste from last year. The jealousy running through your veins

Lot of players with big egos and refuse to play as a team is just what's letting them down by the looks of things.

He spoke the truth. Anything less than an Ulster title for the United Parishes team is a miserable failure.

Not sure what lie you are insinuating…says the man with half the club in Louth.

31 townlands in Monaghan, 11 in Louth. Even with our foot in two counties/provinces, still 99 fewer townlands than Tedavnet. Despite your protestations of superior coaching, your success is due to weight of numbers. BrehonBlonde (Monaghan) - Posts: 81 - 06/10/2024 20:20:32 2573332 Link 1 |
The Monaghan championship is a relatively poor championship so any progression in Ulster would be seen as a positive
