Interesting results in the various championships with pride of place arguably going to Kilbeggan Shamrocks. Three games unbeaten in intermediate championship after winning junior last year, five points, intermediate status guaranteed and their match versus Rochfortbridge is a preliminary quarter final. Multy certain to reach quarter final. On the other side Tubberclair have yet to win after three games and face elimination unless they overcome Garrycastle. Tubberclair's match versus Milltownpass was a brilliant advertisement for football, Garrycastle and Milltown the two best sides in this championship with Castledaly virtually certain to be demoted to section B. The Downs impressive form continued in Killucan versus Shandonagh whose form is certainly not improving. Shamrocks narrow win over Killucan puts them in a good position to emerge from this group with Killucan still in contention.

Agreed with the above, having seen Multy they are coming on well, physically they are as good as any team and Wallace on top of his game. Tubberclair and Miltownpass was possibly game of the weekend so far, interestingly having spoken to a Tubberclair man at the game they are missing up to 15 players from last year including Whittaker yesterday which seems an incredible turnover of players, Milltown and Garrycastle the teams to beat but we've seen dark horses over the past three years cause upsets at the business end, Shandonagh seem to have thrown in the towel as the results certainly don't reflect some of their talent. Shamrocks solid and doing what they have to do nicely. With two rounds to go the Intermediate Section A is still tight, Rosemount have four points but have Miltown and Miltownpass to come and rumoured to be losing some key players from here. Tubberclair out unless they get to 5 points and a favour from other sides. Garrycastle and Miltown looking good for a straight semi final.

No website is a disaster, is it ever coming back? Wouldn't be so bad if the information was being posted somewhere but that's not even the case. App is not being utilised to its potential, only crumbs of information going up regarding some fixtures, no results or tables, no underage results or tables, surely all this could be posted on this channel??

Lomans tore through Caulry at their ease but got causal at the end and Caulry got a few late goals to make it look respectable.

App is a disaster. Website is only down to put up tables but surely it shouldn't take this long.

App is welcomed of course but what's the point if updatès àre only every couple of days. Fixtures and results are the bread and butter and surely can be updated as they happen. Tables are vital now as competitions progress. Some great people working hard behind the scenes but why is this proving so difficult. A county website being down mid-summer is ridiculous.

Hard to get people to do these jobs. Is it voluntary or can we pay someone to do it. I don't like to give out about volunteers

I would have the utmost respect for anyone who takes on a committee job, but at the same time that job needs to be carried out as productively as possible. There is also a chance that the person in the role isn't being provided with the tools to carry out the tasks effectively, is the website format fit for purpose for example. Perhaps this needs to be looked at. Just looking at other counties websites and they appear more streamlined and user friendly, with fixtures up far in advance, and results tables updated in real time.
Maybe it's a job for more than one person…

100% agree. PRO is a thankless job and it's always about what you don't do. However, it's very easy to subcontract this job out for you, not a big cost.

Tyrrellspass with a big win over Tang, dominated second half with Tang scoring one point. Winner of Tyrrellspass Athlone will be close to semi final spot with Kinnegad having only drawn with Athlone earlier. Tang looked very unfit, led by two at half time and lost by nine.

Can't get a table in the middle of a championship is a joke. Who is the brains behind that operation because it really ruins things, half the craic is seeing who's in what positions, the permitatins and combinations of how it might play out. Just unbelievable carry on. Nothing on the new app either.

This is not the same Caulry team we seen last year, Paddy slater, Ben Moran and Eoin Fox not there I still think Caulry can win last two and stay up.
Good luck to Tang making the trip to Mullingar tomoro hope they find Cusack park
Tyrrellspass and Athlone for me tomoro 20 double pays 135
Both meets then to meet next for semi final."
Close but no ciger !!
I stand by my prediction that winner of Tyrellspass and Athlone in next game will make it to semis.
Tang will need a few extra favors from the killucounty board to get there games out of Cusack,
Caulry in Moate you just know it will be.
Caulry to win last two and stay up as I say.
Tang and Kinnegad to go down
It will be Lomans easest title yet.
What is going on in Moate ??

Shane Curran's reputation increasing, he's been involved with Malachy's last six weeks, they've improved massively since league, competitive versus The Downs, big win yesterday against Moate, Cake Curran could be contender for Weatmeath job

Agree they have good players and missing few key ones .

League always doesn't tell full story as team won't always have full pick focus one code maybe but I agree with comments and large parts downs game were doing well
