My last post wasn't posted for some unknown reason.....

Well a little under half of it was spent on a leasehold. A leasehold. There was some crowd of numpties running the place when they did that. And the rest was on playing pitches & facilities, bar, restaurant, Gym etc & recruitment of players etc. Up to 30 people were on the payroll all managed by a well known former Dublin City mayor. All got shafted following Covid and some had to go to the Work Relations Commission. None of this is a secret and has been well reported in the media. In effect most of the 23 million was squandered. Parnells should be one of the richest clubs in the country but they completely lost the run of themselves. The people involved should never be allowed near a GAA club again.

Tks Fionn, any news on footballers ? I heard they played Wicklow last weekend but no reports that I can see. I would think Dessie must know at this stage who is staying in the panel.

Not sure who exactly played for ourselves. Limerick Leader doesn't name any Dublin player. Perhaps by request!

Makes nonsense of doing away with pre season competitions. At least we could see them!

I doubt they are.

Little things like this keep me going after 50 years. Apologies. I'm sure my optimism won't last :-)

Good on ya Barney but like myself you're long enough around to know challenge games at this time of year or anytime mean absolutely nothing…!

Pretty feisty and at times ill tempered game with a few flash points.

Definitely not a Friendly game.... deserved red card but could have been more.

Not a hope of that happening, sadly.

Good to see, Players are looking to secure their spot on the panel so no one standing back on either side.

Interesting game. Don't think Tipp's experiment dropping Jake back is working. Ronan Maher still their outstanding player and he's getting on.

From out perspective, I thought the backs looked pretty solid. Chris C was very good as was Conor til sent away, and don't think they will miss Eoghan as much as people might think. Its scoring and goal scoring forwards we need. Hedger played well and is still one of best forwards in county but difficult to see him recapturing a spot.

Fair play to Niall Ó C. Not letting Na Fianna completely dominate his thinking. Out again tomorrow against Kerry I think but with more of the second pick and obviously Niall won't be at that!

Well your footballers have a great chance and your hurlers defeated us in Leinster last year...

Best of luck to both Dublin clubs today. A Dublin double would do for me!
