Great news that work is to start on the new county grounds in Dundalk. Well done to everyone involved since start of project. Movements good both on and off the fields. Hope we will have silverware earned for display on opening day next year. The collection should start tomorrow night in our away "home".

If we lose Sunday week we will be in what looks like the group of death so an even added reason to win now...here's hoping.

All the best in the Leinster final, ye owe them one and most of the country will be behind you. Ye have a fine team that are a joy to watch.

While group 3 is easier and the winner gets a good reward, group 2 isn't too bad either.

Neither Meath or Louth are beating Kerry, but no reason why both can't beat Roscommon or Cork. Roscommon look distinctly average falling over the line in Division 2, and never landing a punch on Galway. 2 tough games for sure, but winnable.

it's not as if it's going to be a cake walk going to Down if either of us end up in group 3 either, so there's no easy groups.

congratulations to Feargal Reel.,his back room team and specially the brilliant panel of players who won the Leinster under20 championship last night. They played fantastic football and really controlled the game after the first quarter.. Very well done. The atmosphere in Newbridge after the first whistle was super and made the journey home very short. It's great to see we have such a talented supply of classy footballers available.
It's15 years since we last won a Leinster title. I expect the next one in 10 days. It's a pity we won't be allowed on to the sacred sod to celebrate with the boys like we did last night.

Louth are doing a hell of a job at underage. For a Wee county, hats off.

The Minors had a good win last night also, where your u20's were in attendance and voicing their support for the younger lads. Fair play.

The build up to Sunday week and the hype around this game will be something else.
Meath are raging hot favourites with the bookies but I would take no notice of that tbh.
It is all on the day and who performs and who doesnt.

Really looking forward to seeing a classic hopefully.

What a week it has been for the Wee County. The Seniors reaching the Leinster final on Sunday, the stadium getting the green light to be funded on Monday, the under 20s winning a deserved Leinster Championship on Wednesday and the Minors reaching the semi-final last night. What a time it is to be a Wee County supporter.

If wee win we could be playing Monaghan at home in Inniskeen. Bring it to Navan.

I was in Newbridge on Wednesday night and what a performance by the U20, there is serious quality coming through. I remember there being years following Louth in which we wouldn't win a championship game at any grade and this year alone we've won 9 games across minor, U20 and senior. Id love to see us win next Sunday but even a loss needs to be put in the context of where we were at in 2020 before MH took over. That year we were relegated to division 4 without winning a game and Sam Mulroy was our only scorer in the championship defeat to Longford. The last 5 years have been unbelievable and with the players coming through, no reason why it can't continue.

That is some turnaround in fairness.

Absolutely, I was at the minor game last night in Hunterstown and it was nothing short of impressive also, we never looked like losing despite being pegged with Westmeath netting twice. You can clearly see the work that's being done at grass roots that is now reflecting on the field of play and Devlin is some man to have in there, great times.

Refreshing to watch Louth and Meath u20s on Wednesday night. No pulling or dragging. No oneupmanship going on. Just two very good well coached teams going at it. The way football should be played. Well done all
