Didn't he come up against our current "intern" manager in Kildare with Moorefield? Don't think that went well for Ger … why are we always thinking the grass is greener "over there"? Maybe the answer is one of our own? I'm hearing Joe might walk away after his spell, if that's the case serious questions need to be asked of the County Board & the decisions they make or actually the decisions they don't make quick enough! He possibly will be managing against Carlow next season not in Division 4 but could happen in The Tailteann

The answer definitely is one of our own, and Joe is 100% the right man for the job. My post was just referring to whether we have a nominations process when hiring a new manager or not. If we do, it looks like the county board ignore it because Joe should have got it from the start but if they can't hold on to him now you would give up all hope.

Why is Joe considering leaving? Carlowrising (Carlow) - Posts: 175 - 09/07/2025 11:25:58 2624573 Link 0 |
Yeah, he's taking over Leix. They're really excited by the idea of being managed by a Carlow man.

Frightening to see the gulf between the big 2 and the rest tonight. 13 goals scored between them and none conceded. The gap is getting wider. Fair play to st mullins and mlr for keeping the standard high. What is going on in the other clubs? Dualclub1 (Carlow) - Posts: 288 - 11/07/2025 23:13:23 2625030 Link 0 |
Seamus Gahan from Grange doing great with Maynooth. Could be the man to take over? kerry4sam25 (Kerry) - Posts: 116 - 12/07/2025 08:48:35 2625041 Link 0 |
Maynooth lost two games from three in last year's Kildare SFC. Eire Og, Rathvilly or Palatine would hammer them. CARPS (Carlow) - Posts: 871 - 12/07/2025 13:33:33 2625064 Link 1 |
