Derry 5/1 is some price.
They're not that bad and I don't think we're that much better than them.
I think we should win but , just about.
Agree that Monaghan will be tough if we get through but we should be beating them!

I got up and left before I took the law into my own hands. Then outside a train station I had a heavy older lad roar at me waving his fists about the Mayo win, I reminded him they usually can't finish the deal in finals and he started roaring all sorts of expletives at me. The whole ordeal was fairly shocking that day. Compared to Galway supporters last year who I found first class."
Every county has clowns including your own

Don't be painting us all with the same brush .

Why do you think we get so annoyed at other counties such as yourselves in that case? Cause of abuse thrown left right and center at us even if we loose win or draw .

Donegal fans give mayo fans plenty of abuse to!

Was not our day on Sunday but we were saving energy for Sligo .

In fairness there must have been about 15,000 there nearly all mayo so at least we actually travel and support our team despite stupid comments like this one. Hilarious that you say Galway fans are first class that made me laugh cheers ...

Derry are a good outfit alright, and they'll not be lying down to us. I just think it'd be a big ask for them to turn things around and beat us in Ballybofey in such a short period of time. McCluskey and McKinless are definitely out as far as I know. Rogers, Tohill and McFaul are doubtful as well I think. That's a serious amount of quality to be missing. Paddy McBrearty and Eoghan Ban are our two major absentees, and the game will come probably be too soon for Jason McGee I'd guess. The bookies are never too far off. I think it could be one of those games that will be tight going for about an hour, but the team with more options and legs on the bench will pull away. I think that team will be us and we'll win it by about 4 or 5 points.

The u20s will get a proper test this Wednesday night. They've been impressive so far but the standard of opposition wasn't as good as what they'll get this week. It would be great if our underage teams could finally get the better of the likes of Tyrone. We've been on the wrong side of some tight games the last few years.

Considering the amount of absentees Derry will have, I'd expect us to win quite comfortably. Once we had enough points to stay up, McGuinness sole focus has been on this game and this game only, look at the teams we have put ever since. We have rotated to keep everyone as fit and fresh as possible for this Sunday. I'd expect a a big performance and here's hoping!

I recall Galway men kicking the back of my seat during the Derry Galway semi final in 2001

That's because you wouldn't sit down for the whole game. The kids behind you couldn't see anything.

Not for the first time, Dick Clerkin has been having a wee bite at us.
Basically saying that because Derry were relegated, and are down a few key men, the game being in Ballybofey, that Donegal should be winning comfortably on Sunday if we've any notion of winning an All Ireland.

If we did manage to wallop Derry by ten points, he'd be the same boy telling us to calm down, that it was against a weakened Derry team etc

Sorry you're taking the point I'm making so badly. I shared an experience of what happened, I know not all mayo supporters behave like that, don't recall saying that anywhere? And yes, the Galway fans last year were extremely sound. Sorry if that offends too.

I think our visitor FarneyGael3 is Dick in disguise, both seem to have an awful disdain for us.

Great win by the u20s tonight against tyrone they look a real threat attacking with the forward lines direct running when in position. Another 3 goals scored this evening bringing it to 10 scored in the competition future is bright for donegal gaa if these players can be nurtured properly

Fantastic result. Any day you beat Tyrone is a great day.

Savage win for the u20s against the All-Ireland champions, both teams without probably their best players due to senior involvements. Straight into a semi final now and Derry look a cert to progress to the semis from the other side. Great chance for this side to get to an Ulster final.

A statement win & good performance from U20's . ... Serious work ethic, pace and quality throughout the team and then looking at the strength of the bench too, ...is KJ Molloy still to come back into that panel? . Whether Finbarr will be involved with them is probably unlikely given the condensed nature of championship these days.
As said on here before , a lot of these lads have lost out in tight encounters to Tyrone & Derry at minor/20's who went onto claim the titles... here's hoping they can forge their own paths to glory this year.,

Brilliant win. The pace and the execution was a sight to behold. Definitely the best drilled underage Donegal side that I've seen in quite a few years. McCahill has looked exceptional anytime I've seen him play and is one expect to establish himself as a top senior in the next few years but in truth there are a few in that team who will do the same. It's only a group game so nothing won yet and Derry looks exceptionally strong too. I expect it'll be alot closer if to meet Tyrone again. However this is an excellent opportunity to reach an Ulster final and maybe win won. I attended a Leinster U-20 game last week and the standard last night was light years ahead. The defending and turnovers were excellent, hallmarks of the senior side. Plus the fitness levels were through the roof so no surprise to hear many of the twenties were in with the seniors. A couple of negatives were maybe under utilising the kicking game especially during the Tyrone press. We were lucky a couple of times when over holding the ball and while not a major negative it was a shame to not see Finbar Roarty and McElholm go head to head as both in with the seniors. The latter was a massive loss to Tyrone so they have the potential to improve drastically if he is allowed to play later in the championship.

Massive result last night, great credit due to manager and his backroom team and players for how they are going about their business. Great to see Shane Ward involved too following debacle with minors a few years ago. A long time time since we have beaten a Tyrone or derry time at minor or u20 level augers we'll for future
