You got your answer last night?

Replying To winatallcost:  "Surprised Roarty started tonight. Thought he would be a certainty to start on Sean O' Shea on Sunday but not so sure now."
He only played 10 mins on Sunday.

With no suspect to the 20s last night, he could coast at that level.

He's one of the most energetic players in the country.

I think he'll be alright.

Who knows. Mccaughan has a boomer of a long kick out by the way.

They never were, fabs will be and are Derry, this under 20 team of theirs is made up from 23 minor and 24 minor all Ireland winners, Donegal next fabs after them I'd say, Monaghan got to an all Ireland final in 23 but didn't have a good minor team the year after

As others have already pointed out they were never favs, it was always Derry. Still have the opportunity to get to a quarter final so not over yet. Remember Donegal beat Tyrone convincingly in the group stages last year only for Tyrone to reverse the result in the Ulster final and follow up with the All Ireland.

Good win for the under twenties last night especially after an unexpected tight tussle with Fermanagh in the previous round. Tough to get a win against a fancied Monaghan side especially away. It was made harder with some of the players missing. Great to see Roarty play the full game with them. I didn't see him come in with the squad off the bus and was thinking he was pulled again. Looks like the Derry game will decide who goes straight through to the semi finals. Nothing wrong with a home quarter final but Tyrone losing last night could potentially see them as an opponent which would not be ideal.
