Replying To Oddball:  "So what is the list of clubs in Longford who were looking for new managers?

Clonguish - Dom Corrigan
Dromard - Niall Vance
Granard -
Cashel -
Grattans -

I'm sure there's plenty that I have left out.

Abbeylara, Mullinalaghta, Mostrim, Kenagh, Drumlish, Killashee, Sean Connollys......are any of these clubs looking for new managers.

I haven't heard anything about Frankie, whether he is staying on or going."

You can add Killoe to that list now.
Jimmy Higgins gone to Naas to replace Philly McMahon.

What players have Mullinalaghta to come back?
I'd be thinking they could be losing a few due to their age profile.

Is that a bit of a bombshell or had Higgins informed Killoe a few weeks ago that he would not be back next year?
It seems a bit out of the blue and leaving Killoe in the lurch with finding a new manager.
Is there any names being linked to them?

Been saying to a few other meath fans on the fan groups that i think Longford will beat westmeath to set up a Longford v Meath quater final in Leinster. whats longford fans thinking on this? my thoughts were westmeath are after losing a lot of key players since tailteann cup in 2022, and longford have a big rivalry/hatred with westmeath so id imagine they will be well motivated to beat the auld enemy in thoer own backyard in championship. added to this westmeath can be very poor when favourites in a match.

Rian Brady or John Keegan maybe.

Not really a bombshell, got a bigger opportunity a couple of weeks ago, can't blame him for taking it. Wish him the best with Naas. I read that he is their 5th manager in 5 years, but it hasn't done them much harm with 4 Kildare SFC's and 2 Leinster finals in that time. He will do well with them.

Nothing solid beyond wild guessing on his replacement at this point.

Would those 2 lads not be near 30 and mid 30's?
When was the last time Keegan kicked ball? Must be 3 or 3 years.
