How do we see games going this weekend? BadgerDog (Westmeath) - Posts: 95 - 29/09/2026 15:11:21 2695522 Link 0 |

Tommyc is completely right. It's just a say nothing attitude in Roscommon though and brush it under the carpet.

Is he saying it about Shane Walsh about him playing for Kilmacud and not playing with Kilkerrin/Clonberne and all the other players who aren't playing with their first club nationwide? A case of selective calling out by Tommy Mc As for the football the weekend Brigid's and Boyle Eire Og and Doms Clan B and Ballinameen. moros (Roscommon) - Posts: 1514 - 29/09/2026 21:38:54 2695603 Link 0 |

Nothing selective. Just the facts. The player that you mentioned with Kilmacud lives in Dublin. He is entitled to play with a club in Dublin. The two goalkeepers that I have an issue with do not live in the club area (or even in the county of the club they are playing with). It's very simple really

Galway native Eanna Shalvey is the new strength and conditioning coach with the Roscommon senior football panel. The_analyser (Roscommon) - Posts: 4495 - 01/10/2026 14:28:06 2695810 Link 0 |

Good appointment by the RGs. Don't know much about the Shalvey lad. Seanfan (Roscommon) - Posts: 955 - 01/10/2026 15:52:28 2695830 Link 0 |

Best of luck to him in the new roll. Hopefully he can build on the impressive work Comerford did last year. If Sherlock is primarily an attacking coach, who is the main defensive coach? FullOfPorter (Roscommon) - Posts: 602 - 01/10/2026 15:59:54 2695833 Link 0 |

Will be in The Hyde for both senior semi finals. Pearses were below their normal high standards in their last two matches . If they are off today I feel Boyle will take them , especially with Enda back firing on all cylinders. Brigids will win the other by at least six in my opinion. Would love to see Boyle win it overall but it's a long stretch. Dominic's v Tulsk is the pick of the other games and I expect the winner of this to win it out. So am I correct in reading that in senior, the ROS club champions play Galway champions? Seems to be mixed messages among some posts here tommyc (Roscommon) - Posts: 70 - 03/10/2026 12:45:36 2696002 Link 0 |

Quality and competitiveness of our club championship all to see in this Boyle v Pearses game in Dr Hyde Park. 2-18 to 1-21 it finished with extra time to come. The_analyser (Roscommon) - Posts: 4495 - 03/10/2026 17:58:17 2696026 Link 0 |

Result after extra time Padraig Pearses 5-22 Boyle 2-27. More heartbreak for Boyle but credit to both teams what outstanding contest. The_analyser (Roscommon) - Posts: 4495 - 03/10/2026 18:36:03 2696031 Link 1 |

Pearses v Boyle was a mighty match and high quality. Pearses turned up today although Boyle will be kicking themselves to be two up well into injury time. A couple of questionable calls but I think it evened itself out over the 80 minutes. tommyc (Roscommon) - Posts: 70 - 03/10/2026 19:03:02 2696040 Link 0 |

Thanks . Seems strange to have four teams on one side of the draw and just two on the other. I would have thought 3 on each side would be fairest but perhaps there is a legitimate reason for it.

That game Might be close in quality to the Leitrim games you watched recently?
