The weather is good, it is holiday time so put the following dates in your diary and support Roscommon ladies GAA teams in three ALL IRELAND FINALS.

This Wednesday 15 August.
Time 7.15pm
Kinnegad GAA, Manorfield, Kinnegad.
Roscommon v Laois in Under-16 All Ireland B Final

Saturday 25th July
Time 4.00pm
O'Connor Park Tullamore
Roscommon v Cork in the Minor B All Ireland Final
(Please note that the A Final between Kerry & Tyrone also takes place at 2.00pm

Sunday 2nd August.
Time ??
Croke Park
Roscommon v Fermanagh in the All Ireland Intermediate Final.
(Recommendation: There are some very bad seats for sale on ticketmaster for this final at the moment. Always use the map of the Croke Park stadium before buying tickets. I would hold back for the moment as no doubt much better tickets will become available. Not sure why Ticketmaster sell rubbish tickets first?)

Roscommon ladies have their own website;
https://roscommonlgfa.ie
where you can buy tickets for the match on Wednesday night.

Well done to all involved in ladies GAA in Roscommon. Some achievement having three teams playing in ALL Ireland Finals.

Time to look to the future with positivity rather than concentrate on SOME SELECTIVE negatives of the past which one or two posters posters seem to take delight in. It has been a great year overall for Roscommon GAA as far as I am concerned.

Replying To yew_tree:  "Going by that logic could we say Mayo collapsed in the second half v Roscommon?"
Exactly my thoughts.

Replying To yew_tree:  "Huge hype in Louth you say…the hype in Roscommon was off the scales. The league and provincials are like the FBD now…irrelevant and I'm not being smart but it's all about performances in July. Teams next year will focus towards peaking at the right time."
I agree. Mayos loss to Roscommon was 79 days ago and they are taking it as a permanent ranking of both teams. Most teams had a big loss in the championship and then went on to get better or maybe they just had a bad day. Not the Rossies though, it's engraved in stone that they beat us and that means they could be in a final. No mention of their huge loss to Monaghan.

Replying To endgame:  "Roscommon got a run on Mayo in that second half. There was huge hype in Louth last week and it got to their players. Best of luck to ye v Kerry. Maybe a young Mayo team with no baggage is your best bet of an All Ireland. As for Roscommon, we were capable of a good run in the All Ireland series but flunked it. Too much about winning a Connacht title. That Nestor cup looks less shiny by the day."
Mayo played Roscommon 79 days ago.. team has changed hugely. Most teams had a big loss in the championship and moved on. Mayo doing well now…

Replying To endgame:  "Yes but Louth collapsed yesterday due to the hype in the county and Cork were poor so Mayo had a handy run to the final. Despite being unimpressive and lucky today, I fear Kerry will beat Mayo easily in the final. As for Roscommon, it was a year where we could have gone a lot further in the championship but the dancing at the crossroads after winning a provincial title can't have helped the team's focus for the All Ireland series. Lessons to be learned hopefully for next year."
When Roscommon lost to Monaghan it was a collapse…when Mayo won to Louth it was a collapse by Louth but when Mayo lost to Roscommon it wasn't a Mayo collapse! I think give Mayo credit where it's due

Couldn't agree more on your final sentence

I think it's 1:45pm for the Intermediate final on August 2nd. The girls deserve the max support possible and in order for that to happen our county will need to start adjusting fixtures as it clashes with round 1 men's club championships

Hopefully our Co Board/Clubs will move the 2nd August Championship games to allow supporters to go to the Ladies Final in Croker.

Let's take the credit IF we win the All Ireland. The fact is Mayo are judged on winning All Irelands because of all the finals we lost, doubts and criticism (even if unfair) will continue until we win it. If we win Sam all the narrative around Mayo changes forever.

In fairness Roscommon are coming from the lower base of what's considered success but Roscommon need to look at achieving a big win or two in Croke Park in championship and build from there. Are Roscommon any worse than Louth? I don't think so, in fact on paper the rossies have just as much talent if not more.
