Replying To GDL:  "Aren't you from Dunmore? Is Costello not gone from the panel since the FBD"
1. Proud member of Glinsk Gaa actually. 2. Costello was with the panel for the two games in the league but not in the 26 so he must be still there, as were a number of other players that featured during the FBD

Just a side note from the league and county team for a minute. Anybody know any more about the Salthill development story. I see them pushing it massively on social media. Surely it can't be allowed to go ahead in a neighbouring clubs parish.

They must be fairly confident of it going through given the money spent to date plus the planning required. To be fair the "parish" doesn't come into it in Galway city really, no hard and fast borders compared to clubs in the countryside. The proposed location is very much on the edge of multiple clubs catchment but Michael's would probably feel the most aggrieved from a football club standpoint, a quicker drive to their pitch in westside than to the Prairie from it.

Walsh was clearly injured in the armagh game, leave him off till championship when he will be most needed. Hard to see them coming away with anything. At the moment I think roscommon and monaghan will be the two games Galway will target to stay up

Eamon McGrath, Roche, Cogger and Hernon all start.

In place of Flaherty, Silke, Fitzgerald and McHugh.

Dreadful stuff by a depleted Galway team. So error prone including two gifts of goals to Kerry.

Silke got injured in the warm up, what happened to the others not to start. Their replacements struggling

Where would you recommend they build it? Galway golf club, perhaps? Leisureland? Typical begrudgery.
