We'll be fixed with a Kerry Armagh qfinal next Monday morning, unless one of the BIG FOUR get eliminated this weekend.

Replying To JimB1991:  "What do you want?? Meath number 1??

I understand Meath beat Dublin but I think all in all Dublin have been good since then, so have Meath but there really isnt much between a lot of teams. Meath could possibly be a bit higher to be fair.

Who would be your number 1? Based on the teams they have played and beat it has to be Donegal or Armagh surely, whats the argument otherwise? All the teams Donegal have played are in the last 12 apart from Mayo and Derry who were division 1 teams this year."
Well I think if you are basing on All Ireland Series and using Provisional series as a qualification process only, then it has to be in the order of those already qualified so that would leave a definite top 4. Armagh top as 1st qualified and other 3 based on points accrued. The rest are based on positions in group stages. The rankings will have a definite top 8 by Sunday evening. I think this year is unique and each match has to be taken on its merits. That means Galway ranked 9th could easily be a contender but you can't rank a team based on prior years or so called potential.

1. Armagh
2. Monaghan
3. Meath
4. Tyrone
5. Donegal
6. Dublin
7. Kerry
8. Down
9. Galway
10. Louth
11. Cork
12. Cavan

He didn't appear to be too injured whilst playing the full relegation playoff for Micheal Breathnach last night.

Best of luck to Galway, think yous will have enough against a good and up and coming down team, Galway will still be there or there abouts come the end, we have played ye a fair amount the last few years and always found the Galway fans gracious in victory and defeat, looks like the big 4 in the prelims should win which will leave us against kerry which will be tough, but Galway will beat any of the other 3 that topped the groups imo I do hope we meet again as that would mean we beat Kerry lol

Reports are Colm Costello came on for Dunmore last night in their league semi final and did some damage, this must mean he won't be replacing Comer on the bench as he has done in previous games. Maybe injury was not as bad as first thought?

No guarantees yet! That Kerry V Armagh game will be lighting a fire under the championship fast. Wasn't it the same last year with Galway V Dublin in a quarter final?

I think if you handled the Eurovision seedings, Ireland would probably win it out.

Well ask me about any of these seedings and I can explain the logic. Galway only scrapped in 3rd place but have them top of the 3rd seeds. The competition doesn't lie. Down have more than a 50/50 chance of knocking them out.
Connaught was not competitive this year.
Kerry also well down on merit. They will beat the poorest team left but will lose by 5+ next week as long as Armagh don't take off the handbrake.
Monaghan only team to win all group matches and Meath unbeaten also.
