In the balance of play yesterday Dublin were better team I know we had 2 good goal chances dubs Jusr seemed get there scores much easier Galway kickouts are just 2 easy read basically drive it long and hope for best and every teams knows that as well it's just the teams we played in Connacht did not have the players to counteract it but teams from now on most certainly do I though it not make sense brining Tommo on when o connaghile had done well and hit point v mayo I'd definitely make changes next day i think Joyce has to be brave because he surely knows loose to Derry and it's over for this year and probably over for him as well , I'd like see flaherty in goal need variety in kicoutd sacarfice distance for accuracy, also Kelly full back Daly center back Mcdaid to midfield where he won all star 2 years ago conroy sub id hope comer and heaney make bench next day ,,

Could Daly have put the ball on the floor and let someone have a go for a two point free? Don't get me wrong, it was a great kick pass to Tierney. Tomo or Cooke probably the only two on the pitch at that particular that could have taken the free. It was suited to a right footer. Thought Cooke was poor overall. Anyways, we'll take the learnings and move onto Derry. Gaillimh Abú

Cooke will bring game management. He won't bring the kitchen sink in terms of attitude or affect. His intro worked a treat in Castlebar, but we needed a more fire and brimstone contribution yesterday to unsettle the Dubs, and you won't get that from Cooke.

Had anyone a better view of that Sean Kelly "barging" descion at the end? From what we could see, he was fouled by two of them. Padraig Joyce said it was a ridiculous descion in interviews after. He was still right to take the risk, another time I'll be a goal or a penalty at least.

I was nearly in line with it I thought it was the right decision Kelly took ball at pace and ran directly into Dub who stood his ground.

Your on about incident in square happened after charging free? Kelly lost his footing no foul similar to Sweeney in castlebar.

Clare aka JimB1991 and S1234 have you ran out of credit or data?

Replying To endgame:  "Galway still there. However today shows that the Connacht championship is weak at present. Roscommon have nothing and Mayo aren't much better. Matthew Thompson very impressive for Galway. Cian Darcy who ruled the sky against us virtually anonymous today. Theo Clancy excellent at full back for Dublin. It's a really open All Ireland championship . Four or five teams could win it and Galway, despite losing today, are still one of those teams."
I agree that Connacht is weak at present and that was underlined by Cavan's trouncing of Mayo today. I'd say that morale in Mayo is very low at present. I don't agree that Galway are in the mix for Sam. Galway had their chance last year.

A penny for the thoughts of Clare? One thing losing a fine margin contest by one point with the last kick of the game to Dublin but to get bossed and bullied by Cavan at home.

On this occasion we deserve all the slagging coming our way…some of our fans just can't help themselves.

They couldn't run out of ideas anyway because they had none to start with.
