Dublin Vs Kerry

I think the result matters more to Kerry than Dublin, with the form Kerry showed last week you'd have to fancy them here.
Should be a top class game anyway and might give us a hint as to where Sam might be next Winter.

Be disappointed if we show anything like our hand this early, hopefully mins in the legs and keep developing the kids, we're not going to learn anything else beyond that from a national league at this stage in our team cycle. if Kerry beat us by anything less then five, I think we will win the All Ireland again this year.

It's a bit of an irrelevant fixture for us really, if we win or loose it doesn't change much. It's a loose, loose for Kerry, if they loose they are under pressure, if they win they are under the pressure of expectation - but who knows they could live up to it!

I liked the experimentation in the forward line by Kerry last weekend. Clifford for me has needed support and legs around him for a couple of seasons now, finally someone down the South West has noticed. Trick will be punishing the men that takes forward and the vulnerability in behind through the central channel and squeezing the pips of their back line by running, flooding, overloading, intricate passing, stretching and breaking lines, let your own quality do the business. Don't expect any of that this weekend think we will do rope a dope and be happy enough to go man on man and just plain give nothing like a strategy away, can't see us being to stressed by a result we're to long on the road, unless we get something like the Galway treatment, who knows!

Kerry though,while winning Munster handy i'd say, will have it all to do against the Ulster champions. Oh true. I mean the Kerry Dublin game won't define any of the teams season. By no means are Kerry guaranteed to be in all ireland final. As you say even if we should win munster then it's a 50 50 semi if its Donegal or Tyrone.

Tbh I don't think the game will have any bearing on the championship. I don't think Kerry need to win as they have beaten Dublin a couple of times in the league recently and drawn also and certainly the result won't affect Dublin either. I just think it's a game both sets of supporters enjoy for many reasons and both will want to win but neither team will be too upset regardless of the result.

Well ye have lots of practise at the training games seeing as ye broke lockdown etc going training so Dubs should win based on that. Kerry did not train during lockdown- ye may have lots of money but you cannot buy class.

Well ye have lots of practise at the training games seeing as ye broke lockdown etc going training so Dubs should win based on that. Kerry did not train during lockdown- ye may have lots of money but you cannot buy class.

That's exactly it, they'd only begin some kind of collective training a few weeks before the championship started if that is the case. They'll not pawn that one on anyone. I'm watching them.

It will be a tight game. The 2 best teams in the country on their day . Kerry still best placed to take them down, Mayo closely behind. While both teams can talk down the importance of it there is no harm to them psychologically getting the right result.

Dublin didn't panic at half time in the final last year because they always beat Mayo in recent times, beit league or championship. That makes a difference.

It was still silly though and rightly punished. It was wrong.

In terms of breaking the law

It was hardly as bad as biting members of our police force was it?

So please stop spouting self serving lies and misinformation about Dublin collectively training for months, as such would have been easily proven but coming from the likes of you.. is it any surprise to see such nonsense being spouted?

Do you really think this game will have any sort of psychological impact on them...

Dublin and Kerry are in two completely different head spaces in terms of getting hyped up for this one for the championship ahead

I hope Dublin continue with the young lads and give them game time, result is not important, it's to look at options and see what's available for when it is.

Dubs have nothing to prove and the same can't be said about their opposition

Couldn't they have a kickabout in a local park or beach then if that's the case. Why were they going into a football pitch to do so? In the early morning too. I presume like most clubs around the country the Dublin club in question would have a pitch closed sign up, did they walk past the sign for a harmless kickabout and if so why did they do this please? And btw if you saw the pics they had training cones down also. This is a quote from an article "They took part in a series of fitness drills and practised ball skills while a man appeared to keep watch close to the entrance to the facility"

Your fellow county man was making similar claims about Kerry yet I didn't see you rush for them to back up their claims. Odd that.

It's actually quite funny how you see yourself as this voice of high morality on everything yet will post the same thing yourself without any hit of shame.

As for the Dublin players training, that's what it was despite trying to say otherwise, it definitely wasn't the worst thing a Dublin player has done in recent years, but I'm sure you'll just ignore that as it doesn't fit your narrative....

Sorry to have to be the 1 to tell you this but 9 players having a kick about is "collective training" jim :-)

Do you expect everyone to believe that it was only those 9 dublin players that were at it and the other 40 lads were doing nothing only gym work?

It's not up to me to prove anything as I was at home not breaking the law or lockdown rules but the picture in the paper was worth a thousand words in this case and said it all.

dublin going to such lengths breaking the law/rules to win the league is interesting though as it show a bit of insecurity in yer management team.

Also you keep saying things like I'm the most disliked poster on here and now that even my own are slagging me off? yet I'm still here and here il stay.
