Lads this debate is far more entertaining than any intercounty football game of the last decade.

Not so much defensive, more a lot of poor shooting, miles off target. No amount of rule changes could improve the standard!

I'm hearing the American football game in September will be in croke park ? College football also kicks off in Ireland in September. We could have 2 weekends of American football in Ireland every year. Can't see All Ireland returning to September if this becomes tradition. Also hear the urc finals will be in croke park if Leinster has home games.

Croke Park would be a great site for a GAA stadium

Castlebar park has fallen to Inter Pro rugby. Ballinasloe Duggan park is also in danger.

Why would we want the AI finals to return to September? Unless the county players return to their clubs between intercounty games, and there are way less intercounty games also.

If there were 3 Croke parks free and available in September the finals still would not be played in September, the players don't want it.

Leinster want to play the last 16 game in croke park. GAA need to tell them to get lost it's a gaa stadium and the rugby crowd are acting like croke park is their stadium now.

They're requesting it and gaa will take the hundreds of thousands rent and everything else they will get if stadium wasn't meant to be in use on the weekend in question.
Why would gaa turn that huge extra windfall in cash when stadium otherwise not jn use

They'll have played in it more than some county gaa teams the way things are going

I can't stand rugby but if the GAA have an unused Stadium available and can get rent of say €800k or maybe more .....

I agree. A lot of the money from this game, just like the rock concerts held in Croke Park, will filter down to the counties and clubs.

Is that a criticism of rugby, Croke Park or Leitrim Gaa.
