That must rank as one of the darkest halves in galway's proud football history. Hard to see where they go from here, surely the end for Walsh isn't far away.

As for Galway, they are a bang average team who have been living off a few Victories over a Mayo team that always had one eye on the ALL Ireland series over the past few years.
They an only play one-way , and it's time Walsh steps aside when they eventually get knocked out later this summer..

Went up a gear the second half and Galway collapsed after the goal.

Rossies Really wanted it more, Galway just melted in that second half, in the face of that desire.

Looking forward to our trip to Hyde if we win Leinster next week.

Well done Roscommon, fully deserved. For Galway players I feel terrible, as they have so much potential, but are absolutely totally hamstrung by a management team that really are clueless.
The benefit for Galway is they will get another tough game in the qualifiers and change the team around, get Comer back and by the end of the season there will be an opening at management level.

Well done to Roscommon; a very spirited and typically passionate performance. Their fans are to be admired. I agree with other posters though; awful standard of football in many ways. Galway looked poor, but they have the players to re-group. That second half was shocking. Roscommon could cause an upset or two in the super 8s.

Poor standard overall with the pitch invasion the most enjoyable moment. Roscommon won't care though, beat Mayo and Galway away to win it out this year.

Didn't see that one coming. Galway look lost without Comer. Thought Michael Daly was doing ok, couldn't understand how he was taken off before Ian Burke who didn't get a kick. Fair play to Roscommon, no disputing who are top dogs in Connacht. Hard to know where Galway are at but I don't think anyone will like to meet them all the same. Looking at the Ross delight at the end, who said provincial titles don't matter!
