Laois Hire O’Moore Park in Portlaoise and Páirc Tailteann in Navan will host the All-Ireland Club SHC semi-finals on the weekend after next.

Three-in-a-row Munster champions Ballygunner will face six-in-a-row Galway kingpins St Thomas’ at O’Moore Park on Saturday, December 16 at 7.30pm. That will be followed the following day by the meeting of O’Loughlin Gaels and Cushendall in Páirc Tailteann at 1.30pm.

There had been speculation that the semi-finals would be played as a double-header at Croke Park, but this has proved to be wide of the mark.
