Anthony Daly has criticised the GAA for not allowing Tipperary and Limerick to wear jerseys promoting the Dillon Quirke Foundation.

The teams had agreed to wear the jerseys in memory of the former Tipperary hurler who died suddenly last summer while playing for his club Clonoulty-Rossmore at Semple Stadium, which was also the venue for yesterday’s thrilling Munster SHC drawn encounter, only for the GAA’s Management Committee to rule in March that the promotion of charities on players' gear was prohibited.

Instead, the teams sported the Dillon Quirke Foundation logo on their training bibs which were visible in the warm-up.

"All the family and the club want to do is good for other families and other clubs and other potential players all over the country,” the former two-time Clare All-Ireland winning captain said on The Sunday Game Live.

"Then the GAA won't let them go ahead with it. Sometimes some of the stuff baffles me."
