Westmeath have confirmed that Joe Fortune will remain on as senior hurling manager for another season.
This past season saw the Lake men capturing the Allianz League Division 2 title before going on to retain their Leinster senior championship status in the summer.
It was confirmed last night that Fortune will return to the helm again in 2023 as Westmeath hurlers look to build on a past successful season.
As for the county’s senior footballers, former ace attacker Dessie Dolan will lead a new era in the Lake County after being ratified as manager at last night’s county board meeting.
