All-Star nominations to be revealed

The PwC All-Star nominations will be released in the coming days.
The selection committee will meet this afternoon to finalise the list of nominees for both football and hurling. The 45 footballers shortlisted will be revealed on Thursday morning, with the 45 hurling nominees to be released on Friday. Each list will feature the best three goalkeepers, 18 defenders, six midfielders and 18 forwards from this year’s inter-county season.
The RDS will host the All-Stars banquet on Friday, November 1 with the hurling selection to be unveiled live on the night. The All-Stars football team will be announced the previous day, Thursday, October 31.
All-Ireland champions Clare and Armagh are expected to dominate the respective hurling and football shortlists.
