Group B in Senior the group of death? OLLIE (Louth) - Posts: 12224 - 06/03/2017 21:15:10 1964820 Link 0 |
to be honest, the group games mean little, teams just do enough, and others win one game and are happy to do that year in year out just to stay up.. ziggy32001 (Meath) - Posts: 8354 - 06/03/2017 21:31:03 1964827 Link 7 |
And of course bracks games too.

I think the senior groups are well matched to be honest. No real group stands out at being the toughest. Maestro (Meath) - Posts: 586 - 06/03/2017 22:17:01 1964843 Link 0 |
Yeah I'd agree with that. People will have their own opinions on how they rate teams but I have them groups pretty much identical really.

Even enough groups alright, on current form it should be Don /Ash and Summerhill along with Tones in group A, Simonstown and Moynalvey for me in group B with the third place between O Mahoneys and St Colmcilles, Group C is arguably the toughest to call with Dunboyne and a battle between Ratoath, Na Fianna, St Pats and Skryne. I will go for Ratoath and Na Fianna. Relegation I think will be between Rathkenny, Blackhall and Dunshaughlin with Rathkenny to go down and Dunboyne to claim Keegan. Form at the right time is important and given that the championship will really only begin in mid august, a lot could change before then....... Bookies have it priced up below. They were way off last year but seems about right this year. dunboynelad (Meath) - Posts: 227 - 06/03/2017 22:45:32 1964862 Link 0 |
The teams that won the last 3 championships are in Group B, so it has to be toughest. Now how many come out of each grouping will also be a deciding factor on how difficult the Group is.

The groups in the intermediate championship are very even and little to separate most of the teams. Meath4Sam2020 (Meath) - Posts: 141 - 07/03/2017 08:52:35 1964910 Link 0 |

Where are those odds from Dunboynelad? Looking at it, I reckon Moynalvey e/w at 16s could be a bit of value.

They are way off with O Mahoneys, should be 12/1 and Tones are generous at 20/1 should be around 9 /1

Think 8/1 for Ratoath is ridiculous. Can't see how we're that short when the likes of Na Fianna are 14/1. Ratoath Royal (Meath) - Posts: 1383 - 07/03/2017 11:20:20 1964960 Link 12 |
