Replying To Crinigan:  "Was Dylan Morgan injured? Thought he'd be a shoe in on that team and their main inside forward. Anyone know why Mickey Burke wasn't playing? I've a suspicion Colm O'Rourke will call him in…"
Mickey did his hamstring last week in the game. If COR is calling him in we are in serious trouble.

Replying To brian:  "blackwater left 2 of there top forwards on the line untill it was too late , kicked too many wides in the first half with the breeze and brought on forwards in the 2nd half against a gale force wind , played too many 30 + aged players and left young lads on the line , total wrong approach"
Who were the top forwards left out, was at the game and looking at their team from last week only Morgan was missing. Asked a kilmainham lad today and answer I got was- he was at his graduation. Looked like he was replaced by Frank O Reilly. I would say from seeing Carnaross for the last couple of years that he is one of the best at that grade. Drumbarragh lad inside looked a decent player , good free taker.

Moyferagh looked physically too strong for black water and it was at the back that blackwater struggled. Let McKeown walk in for 2 scores . Goal was shocking defending Neither team up to beating lough crew or An Tuascairt IMO.

Will the Castletown lads be involved in the Regional semi final on tuesday with a huge game coming up for them the following weekend?

Who's everyones fav now to win it? Obvious statement here I know but Lough Crew do look like they'll be difficult to beat.

Was in Ashbourne yesterday where Boyne Valley were too strong for Tara. The 2nd goal totally killed the game as a contest.

A few players that were not on the county panel in the past, for me really stood out under the watchful eyes of the COR and his selectors.

Barry O Connell (Walterstown)
James & Sean O Hare, David Curtis (Rathkenny)
Con Smith, Donagh Garvey & Cathal McConnell (Bective)
Paul Kelly (BHG)

2 1/2 games I have saw Boyne Valley and 5th game I have saw in total in this Regional Championship. The most consistent player I seen has been McConnell. The amount of ball he has got on from the half back line and seems a really intelligent player.

Agreed, I was surprised at the quality from couple Bective lads, (who TBH i hadn't' seen them b4). Also, Barry O' Connell along with Curtis inside v impressive. Rathkenny probably be favorites next year for inter. Having been v close this year. Lot of football to go, but their players yesterday all looked v good, I found watching yesterday that a lot of the difference were Tara tended to hold the ball for the sake of it a lot more, rather than keep it moving.
