Just a couple of months ago, it was between Dunshaughlin and St. Michael's according to you and (somehow) Dunshaughlin were definitely not going to win it.
Duleek/Bellewstown are rank outsiders so you could make a pretty penny if you put your money where your mouth is and you're right.

What is the betting? Any injury concerns ahead of the game? I think Dunshaughlin will win. But it will be close. Dunshaughlin's forwards will definitely come out on top, but I'm not sure about their backs. The good opposition they faced this year - Trim and Rathkenny - cut them open.

As the season has gone on im getting to see more games. Dunderry are as far away from winning an intermediate championship as they've ever been. Wilk be a tight final, but Duleek by 3

After the semi finals a lot of people getting very excited about a really good Duleek performance (winning by 25 points) and think they are in with a great chance because Dunshauglin although winning by 15 points under performed.
Let's look at the fasts:
Dunshaughlin are 6 wins out of 6 and Duleek are 4 wins, 1 draw and 1 win from 6.
Meath Hill beat Duleek, I think for anyone to be considered serious opposition to Dunshaughlin, (with all due respect to Meath Hill) they would want to be beating Meath Hill handy enough.
Hope we get an entertaining game of football and although Duleek have put together three games unbeaten (W D W ) in a row, I am not convinced Duleek could perform as well again this weekend against Dunshaughlin. Rathkenny were unlucky to only get to within three points of beating Dunshaughlin, I think Dunshaughlin will beat Duleek by more than that.

Hmmm. It was never in doubt from early on. Dunshaughlin should be aiming for a Leinster title at least.

Great win for Dunshaughlin and well deserved but Duleek peaked two weeks ago. As. I said there was nothing to suggest anything other than a handy win for Dunshaughlin. Rathkenny were the next best team in the Intermediate Championship. Duleek do have a lot of good young players and the future is bright. I don't who ever wins the replay between the O' Mahony's and Seneschalstown will go straight back up next year.

Congrats to Richie and the lads on such a terrific response to last year's disappointment. Not easy to bounce back so quickly in Meath. A run in Leinster would be a nice bonus if it happened, more important to start planning for next year and continued momentum.

Have to take my hat off to Dunshaughlin, played lovely football yesterday. Duleek Bellewstown appeared to peak for the semi finals game v Dunderry . This season should set them rightly for next year, few more players I to the first team. On another topic let's welcome Castletown to intermediate grade, played nice football at times yesterday , the man with the midus touch Aiden Young had them flying. Congrats to both Dunshaughlin & Castletown.

If NOM continue to play the way they have done it will be a couple of years before they see the senior ranks again. NOM are struggling and with the lack of development and support for young players making the jump from minor to adult football, changes will be needed to get more of their young players to push on and get them back to where they should be. NOM will struggle against the Rathkennys, Oldcastles, Duleeks etc. Personally I wouldn't fear meeting them in championship as an intermediate team

Replay for what? I though NOM were well beaten and the score line flattered them in the end.

Seneschalstown played with an extra man for the last few minutes and all weekend it looked like there might be a replay but O' Mahony's released a statement this morning saying they were not going to pursue it

Thanks, I hadn't heard that. Fair play to NOM as they were clearly second best so have done the right thing.

The last few minutes? 30 seconds to a minute maximum.

Doesn't matter how long - still not right! Fair play to OMahonys!

I was there as a neutral and the player that was meant to come off was down injured and just didn't realise he had been subbed but had no impact on the game so a replay would have been ridiculous so fair play to o'mahony's for not making a big deal of it

O'Mahonys were disqualified from the 2005 championship after winning their semi final against Dunboyne when they used a fourth substitute in extra time (who didn't touch the ball after coming on). They could have potentially kicked up a fuss and at least gotten a replay but fair play to them for letting it go.

Wont get past the first round of leinster. Standard was atrocious.

To be fair, they've a tough game against Kildare champions. Jimmy Hyland's club I believe, and from what I've heard they're a few other decent players too.
