Replying To Crinigan:  "Ive little time for RTÉ sports coverage at the moment. It's fallen off a cliff since new director came in a few years ago. It's a boring woke fest from the horrendous token presenters on it to likes of Richie Sadlier etc being pundits.

I would love it if Dublin were finally beaten and it wasn't even on live TV! Can you imagine the fall out!!!"
Has to be on TV, we,ll need proof. Plus I would want to watch it back about 100 times.

Most stations are gone this way, pundits who never played the game, all in the name of PC

Replying To Royal.Legend:  "I think the interest is there and I'd imagine gaago will do well, I suppose people just have no interest in going to the match as they don't know what to suspect, the atmosphere won't be the same where would you go to get a few drinks even, I'm going myself and I'm looking forward to it but I know it's going to be different and I'm actually driving to it, on the match itself best of luck to the meath lads I hope they throw everything they have at them this time because they stood of them last time, if were going to die then let's die with dignity."
Dignity and give it their all, no more excuses, if Dublin win on their own merit so be it. Time to put an end to annual surrender.

Replying To bdbuddah:  "Exactly right. Also most people thought when they heard limited tickets were unsure how they would even get them."
Yeah it was very difficult to actually get the tickets.

Fair enough.

Best of luck to all involved. Couldn't agree more, time to stop rolling over and have a cut at them. This is not the same Dublin team, their defence, never the strong point, looks weak.

J McEntee
Newman
Jones

The lads will make an impact coming off the bench and improve us, I am assuming McGill starts and Fionn reilly loses out with Ryan moving to half backs.

I don't care if we beaten by 20 points today if we can walk off the pitch after giving it are all. get stuck in contest every 50 50 ball get a hand leg foot something in to disrupt them. play our game run at them and take are chances. relax on frees take our time and make sure of it and you never know maybe a goal or 2 too. still might not be enough but don't lie down and look at Dublin walking through us I be happy then

I agree with you, RTE is an expensive item and considering some of the trash being televised. Best of luck to everyone involved today and nobody should ask for any more than everyone giving their best.

Just want to wish Andy and Shane and the lads the best of luck for today. Unfortunately I just can't see us beating the Blue Juggernaut. Dublin by 25+. Hope I'm wrong. Any truth in the rumour Graham Reilly back in squad? Be good man to have come on last 20 mins.

pity we were not closer at half time good performance 2nd half but it was just to much to try claw back. could have been a big upset if we got penalty too and dubs pen was soft enough but well done 2nd half I cant wait for the day we can beat Dublin again and it looks like it could be coming next few years

Im a proud Royal tonight.

Lads we lost by 5 points. Never led the match. Kicked a lot of wides. Gave away too much possession... etc etc etc. But we fought. That's the difference. We fought. I felt something I havent felt for many years today during that game. There was a pride and a spirit on show against the Jackeens that we havent seen for years. We still didnt give them enough of it imo, but we gave them plenty. Im proud.

Dublin have dramatically declined, and I struggle to see them winning Sam this year on that performance.
