Dunshaughlin Royal Gaels and Dunboyne are favourites to reach another SFC final

Places in the Senior, Intermediate and Junior football championship finals are up for grabs over the next two days.

Dunshaughlin Royals Gaels put their title on the line when they welcome Navan O’Mahony’s. The four in a row chasing champions topped their group with comfortable wins over Donaghmore Ashbourne, Seneschalstown and Skryne. O’Mahony’s lost out to Dunboyne in round 1 but have recovered well with wins over Oldcastle and Dee Rangers in the group and recorded a good win over Skryne last Friday in the quarter final.

Like Royals Gaels, Dunboyne encountered little difficulty in their group with maximum points from three outings. They have home advantage against Seneschalstown who recovered from their big round 3 defeat to Royal Gaels and beat Oldcastle last Saturday in the quarter final.
