June 11, 2026

Dunboyne were drawn in Group A while SFC holders Dunshaughlin & Royal Gaels are in Group B of the SFC

Meath LGFA officially launched the 2026 Kepak Club Championship in the magnificent surroundings of Killeen Castle, bringing together players, club officers, sponsors and volunteers from across the county to mark the beginning of another exciting championship season.

Hosted by Davy Rispin, the event  featured a special panel discussion showcasing different perspectives from within the game. Joining the panel was former Meath star Niamh O’Sullivan, current Meath senior player Emma Duggan of St Peters Dunboyne, Meath senior coach Ellie Lane (Simonstown), and Fiona O’Rourke, formerly of Seneschalstown and now representing Skryne.

A major highlight of the evening was the championship draw for all ten grades of competition, from Senior Championship through to the newly introduced Junior H Championship. The launch welcomed approximately 80 team captains, along with more than 80 club representatives including chairpersons, secretaries, PROs and other club officers from across Meath’s 48 clubs.

The event celebrated the continued growth and development of ladies’ football throughout the county. With participation levels continuing to rise and clubs going from strength to strength, the championship launch provided an opportunity to recognise the dedication of players, coaches, volunteers, and supporters who contribute to the success of the game in Meath.
